"Everyone is an artist!" In cooperation with Microsoft, Digitec as well as all well-known laptop manufacturers, Wunderman has designed a launch campaign for the Windows Premium Collection, whose aesthetics focus on the high-quality design of the devices and the individual needs of their users. And just like Joseph Beuys, we believe that everyone can do something special. That's why the premium devices are for professionals like you and me. The campaign consists mainly of DOOH and digital components and runs until the end of May in Zurich, Basel and Bern.

Steve Ballmer: Zukunft von Windows Phone 7 https://www.markt-kom.com/en/markom/steve-ballmer-zukunft-von-windows-phone-7/ Wed, 16 Feb 2011 16:49:04 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=39214 The company was pleased with the market launch in Switzerland and, together with partners, presented three new major apps for the local market. The intelligent design with its integrated functions enjoys an excellent reputation and customer satisfaction is above average at 93 percent, according to a press release. Microsoft has already sold around two million licenses worldwide. The focus is now on expanding the market among the 80 percent of consumers who do not yet use a smartphone.

Over the next twelve months, Windows Phone 7 will be enhanced with a wide range of functions and services: Copy & Paste, Twitter integration in the People Hub, support for Office documents in the cloud, a significantly faster Internet Explorer 9 and a long list of new multitasking applications are just a few examples. Last Friday, Nokia and Microsoft also announced a close partnership. This will combine the skills and expertise of both companies to create a new global smartphone ecosystem.

The Windows Phone 7 Marketplace already had more apps at launch than any other platform. And the trend is rising sharply, as the Microsoft press release goes on to say. There are currently over 8,000 apps on offer, with around 100 new ones being added every day. Microsoft has also counted over one million downloads of the Windows Phone 7 Developer Tool to date, with around 2,000 developers registered in Switzerland.

Windows Live Messenger mit Facebook-Chat verknüpft https://www.markt-kom.com/en/markom/windows-live-messenger-mit-facebook-chat-verknupft/ Thu, 03 Feb 2011 00:31:22 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=39028 Windows Live brings together the most important news from the social networks in one central location. This is the basic idea behind linking Windows Live with Facebook and other platforms, according to a Microsoft press release. The advantage of this is that Windows Live serves as a hub for the social web, where all updates from Facebook, YouTube, Netlog, Flickr or Xing are visible together on one interface. When logging in, the user sees status messages, photos or videos from friends at a glance. Entries from friends can also be commented on directly from Windows Live.

A new feature is the direct integration of Facebook chat into Messenger 2011. Messages are sent from Messenger and appear in the conventional chat window on Facebook. Chat contacts do not need to be connected to Windows Live for this. The Facebook connection offers basic functions such as standard emoticons, input display or notification when friends log in. The integration exists in the Messenger client, in the web application or in mobile applications. Messenger 2011 also offers video chats in HD quality and optimized mobile access: in addition to connections for Windows Phone 7, Windows Live can be accessed via almost all Internet-enabled smartphones. An app for the iPhone is available to download from the App Store.

Just a few months after the launch in the USA, the UK, Germany and ten other countries, Windows Live and Facebook users have already had over 400 million chat conversations with each other, which equates to around 3 billion minutes.]]>
