Structural design with brand character

Vaude relies on an innovative and sustainable packaging solution for the presentation of its essentials at the point of sale. Instead of cable ties, a slim solution made of brown cardboard is used, which is partially equipped with the integrated k-fix® cardboard binder. This alternative developed by Keim Packaging replaces conventional plastic cable ties and blister packaging with an environmentally friendly cardboard variant.

From logo to super sign

When developing the structure, Keim Packaging was guided by the brand characteristics and derived a characteristic shape from the V of the Vaude logo. This becomes the new super symbol at the POS and at the same time enables a material-saving packaging solution. The design works for the entire range of Vaude essentials such as toiletry bags, purses, pack sacks and towels. The products remain optimally visible and can be inspected by consumers without opening the packaging.

Economically and ecologically optimized

The packaging solution impresses with its versatility: product-specific information is placed on a label, allowing the packaging to be used for different items. This optimizes both the economic and ecological aspects. The shape derived from the V is unique on the market and gives the Vaude brand a high degree of independence thanks to the repetition effect at the POS.
