The family-friendly collection campaign features items such as diving rings and sticks, an XL swim ring filled with glitter, and soft boccia for fun in the water—complemented by a beach towel, a bowl set, and a cooler bag for a sunny picnic. 360-Degree Summer Vibes

Valencia Kommunikation took on the campaign concept in a fully integrated manner—including naming and visual design—and implemented the communication across all touchpoints: from online and POS materials to print communications. The TV commercial, produced by Shining Film, features a dynamic camera pan through a garden pool, with the focus shifting repeatedly to a different collectible item, thereby showcasing all the items in a short amount of time. In parallel with the shoot, the content team produced short social media clips on-site that explain the product benefits of the collectible items in an entertaining way.

From plush caterpillars to children's alarm clocks

The collection campaign range promises everything for a bright spring: in addition to a cuddly plush caterpillar, there is a cheerful children's alarm clock, a lunch box and practical storage containers and tea towels. The awakening of nature is the common thread running through the integrated communication world - from the spring-like design in shades of yellow and green to the humorous moving image.

Development process of the AI-supported campaign for the U-Abo of the Tarifverbund Nordwestschweiz. Source: zvg

"Are we advertising the U-Abo correctly?" This fundamental question of the Tarifverbund Nordwestschweiz was at the beginning of the campaign concept. The aim was to strategically sharpen the U-Abo, which has been a symbol of environmentally friendly mobility for over 30 years with more than 150,000 subscribers, and to recharge it communicatively.

In a challenging market environment characterized by the effects of the pandemic, changing mobility habits and the boom in e-bikes, Valencia Kommunikation worked with the client to develop a sound marketing strategy.

Explorative approach and close cooperation

Target groups, core arguments and possible development directions for the brand were analyzed in several strategy workshops. The campaign based on this was created in a deliberately iterative and customer-oriented process. Valencia Kommunikation and TNW worked closely and productively together, particularly in the development of the new imagery. Together, the possibilities and limits of AI-supported image generation were explored, degrees of realism were discussed and technological issues were clarified transparently; the advisory role of Valencia Kommunikation was correspondingly central.

New visual world: AI and reality in a convincing symbiosis

The result is a modern, clearly structured visual identity that respects the existing color and typeface world, but conveys the messages in a more contemporary and concise way. At the heart of the further development is the visual world: AI-generated models are combined with real photographed TNW vehicles and regional environments. This symbiosis makes the visuals both independent and credible.

The use of AI offers the customer more flexibility: new subjects can be developed quickly and efficiently, for example for sporting events, seasonal campaigns or special promotions. The use of digital models also enables customers to make significant cost savings in the area of image rights. The visuals are used across all channels, from digital media to fully branded streetcars in the regional public transport network.

Valencia zelebriert die Kaffee-Vielfalt bei Coop Pronto https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/valencia-bewirbt-das-ausgebaute-coffee-to-go-angebot-von-coop-pronto/ Thu, June 19, 2025 11:42:48 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=236356

Coffee-to-go has long been an integral part of the morning routine of today's generation. However, the demands for the perfect coffee are as diverse as the people themselves. In order to attract customers to the stores, more creativity is needed in the range, which goes beyond double espressos and cappuccinos: today, hazelnut and vanilla flavors, a vegan milk option and caramel toppings are also needed.

Coop Pronto has therefore expanded its coffee range and positioned itself as a competent provider of contemporary coffee-to-go offerings. Valencia has dynamically visualized Coop Pronto's expanded coffee range and staged it with an appealing visual world for the concise campaign appearance. At the same time, Coop Pronto's claim to variety and individuality is conveyed.

Digital measures such as DOOH and ad screens were implemented as part of the POS campaign for Coop Pronto stores with and without petrol stations.

Digitaler Relaunch von mobility.ch https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/branding/digitaler-relaunch-von-mobility-ch/ Tue, 27 May 2025 13:44:34 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=235404 As a long-standing partner of mobility.ch, Valencia Kommunikation was entrusted with a fundamental renewal of the website. The challenge: the car-sharing company's website contains extensive information for users as well as journalistic content that is regularly updated.

Agile and collaborative development

The progressive implementation of the project was already evident in the collaboration with the client. In a collaborative process, the needs of the website were evaluated in various workshops. A subsequent proof of concept was subjected to intensive user testing with real users, the results of which were incorporated into the final design. The extensive technical implementation in close cooperation with the client was carried out in individual sprints using the Scrum method. This ensured that the most important elements of the website were prioritized and that deadlines and budgets were met. With over 300 story points implemented in five months in the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) alone, the complexity of the project is evident. Thanks to this approach, we will now regularly implement new functions and continuously expand the system.

Seamless user experience and user-friendly CMS

In addition to the website relaunch, Mobility also overhauled its brand identity. In collaboration with digital designer Joël Walser, the design and content structure of the website were revised so that both Mobility newcomers and existing customers are guided intuitively and can quickly find what they are looking for. Storyblok, an advanced headless CMS (instead of the previous TYPO3 solution), was chosen to build the website. This makes the site much easier to manage and, thanks to a connection to the Frontify management system, editors can enter their content directly and automatically translate it into four languages. The structured reorganization of the entire content was also implemented jointly - a key success factor for the successful relaunch.

Livique. Live it. Love it: Valencia erarbeitet Claim für das Einrichtungshaus https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/branding/livique-live-it-love-it-valencia-erarbeitet-claim-fuer-das-einrichtungshaus/ Tue, May 20, 2025 7:16:42 PM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=234976

As part of a new communication guideline, the aim was to sharpen Livique's identity and strengthen the furniture store's emotional profile. The starting point was an in-depth analysis of Livique's brand values, mission and vision. The focus was particularly on the question of how the brand experience can be summarized from the customer's perspective: At Livique, homeliness is not just offered, but lived and loved.

Emotional and memorable

Based on these findings, Valencia developed the claim "Livique. Live it. Love it.", which "brings this essence to the point and strengthens Livique communicatively", according to the agency. In addition to the content, great attention was also paid to the form of the claim: the three elements form a sequence that integrates the brand name at the end and incorporates it tonally and rhythmically. The triple structure created in this way is intended to arouse emotions and supports brand recognition.

The new claim has been integrated into the brand communication since the end of April 2025 and will be visible across various channels in future.

The collectables for this year's Coop summer promotion include a badminton set and a football for action-packed afternoons, as well as a picnic blanket, ice cube tray, beach towel and a string of solar lights for summer parties. Valencia Kommunikation created a sophisticated 360-degree approach for the offer.

Sunny all-round package

The agency was responsible for developing the creative ideas - naming, visuals and storyboards - as well as their implementation. The communication measures can be seen both analog and digital, on carrier bags or with high engagement on social media.

A particularly dynamic stylistic device was chosen for the moving image: The camera moves from one scene to the next in a surprising way without any recognizable cuts. This creates the impression of a summery "one take" in which each collection item makes its own appearance.

Coop's "Summer Time" family collection activity started on Thursday and will run until June 25, 2025.

Valencia für Coop: Ein Esel macht Frühlingslaune https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/valencia-fuer-coop-ein-esel-macht-fruehlingslaune/ Thu, Mar 13, 2025 12:35:34 AM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=231763

There's something for young and old alike in Coop's spring collection campaign. This time it includes a colored pencil set, an LED flower lamp, a practical lunch box and an insulating drinking cup. However, the plush donkey "Emilio" is at the center of the collecting activity.

Moving images with the yay factor

As an animated character, the little donkey is a central component of moving image communication. "An animated character is not only an emotional eye-catcher, it also makes it possible to tell a lot in a very short space of time. And that is particularly important in short formats such as 15-second commercials," explains Valencia CCO Tommy Schilling. Accordingly, care was taken in the storyboards to present the various collector's items as quickly and strikingly as possible without the spot losing any of its emotionality. The moving images were realized together with Boutiq Films for production and Postoffice Studios for character design and animation.

360-degree communication

The central moving image in various formats is framed by a variety of communication measures that develop a large advertising impact in a short space of time. Valencia offered everything from the campaign website to POS, print and social media from a single source and ensured that all elements interlocked tactically. Coop's "Hello Spring" collection activity runs from Thursday to April 20, 2025.

Coop startet ein süsses Winterwunder https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/coop-startet-ein-suesses-winterwunder/ Thu, Nov 7, 2024 2:24:49 PM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=226283

The new Coop collectibles promotion "Winter Wunder" promises everything that makes winter more beautiful. The collector's items include, for example, a string of lights and a cuddly blanket for adults or a baking apron including a cookie cutter for children. The star of the promotion is Billie, a cute deer that is available as a cuddly plush figure. Valencia Kommunikation has placed Billie at the center of the communication for the promotion and has him act as a clumsy presenter.

Lovingly animated moving image

"Creating the moving image was a particular challenge, as the commercials had to present the collectibles in an emotional and concise way - in just 15 seconds," explains Valencia COO Tommy Schilling. Valencia therefore developed storyboards in which the animated deer interacts with the promotional collectibles in a humorous way, showing its cute, clumsy character. The films were realized together with Shining Film AG for production and Post Office Studios for character design and animation. This resulted in 3 short TV commercials, which were adapted for other moving image formats.

Integrated overall package

With a carefully coordinated communication package, Valencia ensured that the promotion came across as a unified whole. From the naming "Winter Wunder" to advertising materials in all channels - online, print, POS and social media - numerous measures were designed and implemented in an integrated manner. Coop's "Winter Wunder" collective promotion runs from November 8 to December 24, 2024.

Valencia lässt Christ-Magazin in neuem Glanz erstrahlen https://www.markt-kom.com/en/markom/business/valencia-laesst-christ-magazin-in-neuem-glanz-erstrahlen/ Mon, 04 Nov 2024 12:46:31 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=226001 The magazine was to deal with the topic of reflection in terms of design and content - that was Christ's brief. In a collaborative process, the abstract topic was turned into a tangible concept within a short space of time. On this basis, a comprehensive shoot with models was planned and carried out within one day. The Christ and Valencia team was responsible for the organization and creative direction on set. In addition to the people images, product images were also realized for the first time.

The agency then merged the images from the shoot with the layout, atmospheric and informative texts and a modern typography concept. The end result is a magazine that represents the freshness and high quality of the Christ brand and its products. The magazine was sent to over 400,000 households, is available in the 61 Christ stores and can be read as an e-paper. Valencia created POS advertising material, online banners and a mailing with flyers to match the magazine's new look.

"Our Christ Magazine 15 is the first issue that we were able to realize with Valencia. Together, we were not only able to take the look and feel of our magazine to a new level, but also make the processes behind it more efficient. We are already looking forward to No. 16!" - Nadia Mouzo, Head of Advertising Christ Watches & Jewelry.

Transparent collaboration and well thought-out processes

To successfully implement the relaunch of the Christ magazine, the agency relied on a structured and collaborative approach. Various members of the creative team were involved in the layout phase and in preparing the model shoot in order to develop a wide range of ideas and approaches. The collected concepts and design drafts were organized in a shared miro board. This way of working enabled CHRIST to view the progress of the project at any time and provide direct feedback. Regular meetings ensured efficiency and transparency in the process. The client and agency are now using the same method to renew the corporate design.

Ab ins All: Valencia kreiert Sammelspass Für Coop https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/ab-ins-all-valencia-kreiert-sammelspass-fuer-coop/ Fri, 16 Aug 2024 00:00:20 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=221618 The collector's promotion "Off into space!" focuses on collector's items with space motifs and is aimed at young and old stargazers. Valencia Kommunikation was commissioned to handle the extraterrestrial campaign communication.

Extensively advertised

As is usual for Coop collective promotions, various advertising measures for online and offline channels were also created for "Off into space!". Valencia was able to draw on the right specialists from all disciplines and offer everything from a single source. The promotional microsite plays a central role, serving as a content hub that both informs and entertains customers. The microsite was also developed in-house.

From the nursery to outer space

The moving image for the campaign tells the story of a girl who embarks on a fantastic journey into space - straight out of the sheltered environment of her childhood bedroom. The commercial was shot in Switzerland with WirzFraefelPaal Productions and adapted to various formats such as TV commercials and YouTube bumpers. It was directed by experienced filmmaker Adrian Wisard, who has already completed several projects for Coop.
