Apps with love, inova:solutions, and Nexplore are jointly founding the Swiss Digital Collective association. The three companies will remain independent and aim to pool their expertise for complex digital projects. The association is based in Thun.

An Alternative to Consolidation in the Digital Market

The Swiss digital market is consolidating; according to the press release, acquisitions and mergers are shaping the landscape. The three companies are taking a different approach: The Swiss Digital Collective is intended to institutionally anchor their long-standing collaboration and serve as an alternative to the wave of mergers. According to their own statements, they have already carried out major national projects together. By founding the association, they aim to expand this partnership in a targeted manner.

«At the Swiss Digital Collective, we bring together what makes these three companies strong: broad expertise and mutual trust, built up over years of working together,» says Valentin Naegeli, president of the association and co-head of marketing and sales at Apps with love.

Daniel Aebersold, Vice President and member of the Board of Directors at Nexplore, adds: «With the Swiss Digital Collective, we’re offering our customers the best of both worlds: the personal touch and flexibility of an SME and the capabilities of a large IT company.»

Framework for Collaboration and Professional Development

The Swiss Digital Collective creates an organizational framework for collaboration and joint projects. Member companies remain responsible for the actual delivery of services. Clear responsibilities and reliable processes are designed to make it easier for them to respond flexibly to varying project requirements. In addition, the association serves as a platform for professional exchange and joint continuing education. «We bring together different perspectives and learn from one another through our daily collaboration,» says Cornelia Hauert, the association’s secretary as well as Lead Circle Factory and project manager at inova:solutions.

An Overview of the Members

The association promotes strategic collaboration among its members in the area of digital transformation, with a focus on complex projects in the public and regulated sectors. Apps with love has been developing custom software solutions since 2010 and employs approximately 60 people. Inova:solutions has been in operation since 1995, develops software for public administration, affiliated organizations, and SMEs, and has about 45 employees. Nexplore has been supporting organizations in their digital transformation for more than 25 years. Approximately 200 employees work at locations in Thun, Bern, Basel, and Zurich. Since 2019, Nexplore has been organized holacratically, without a CEO or a traditional hierarchy.
