Among other things, he wants to know from Alex Tschäppät what the incomprehensible "official German expression" "Raumübergreifendes Grossgrün" stands for. It's quite clear to the Bernese Stapi: a "large green area spanning the entire region" can only be the city of Bern. Funny, but unfortunately wrong. The correct term would have been: a tree.

The social media campaign created and implemented by Shortcuts supports Postfinance's theme campaign on the difficult questions in life. The clip, which was launched on Postfinance's Facebook page, was additionally Quiz for private and business customers.

A cab ride is over, and the music on the car radio is also fading out. The young people in the back seat are thrilled by the awesome sound. And they scoff at classical music. But then the big stunner: "The new eve, on Radio SRF 2 Kultur," the presenter's voice enlightens the young people as to what has just been heard here. The station has changed. With a new positioning of the early evening program from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., it is increasingly addressing a broad and younger audience with topics such as film, art, music, but also science. However, Radio SRF 2 Kultur is still too often associated solely with high culture: Mozart, readings, choral songs. This image is now to be changed. Three TV spots are to communicate the development. The tongue-in-cheek short films were created and produced by Shortcuts. "We tried to stage witty dialogues in which we address how and where culture is enjoyed today," explains Bene Abegglen of Shortcuts. A cab serves as the stage. "Here you can have all walks of life perform." Moreover, it's a sympathetic idea to portray a cab driver as very cultured. After all, he sits in the car for hours every day - and listens to Radio SRF 2 Kultur while waiting.
The idea is simple, convincing and can also be realized within a reasonable budget. In short: an "original" Shortcuts production.

A trio complements each other
An advertiser, a filmmaker and a social media specialist stand for the style of Shortcuts. Filmmaker Peter Lehner has been a producer for 30 years in Switzerland, Germany and the United States. He studied film at New York University and shot or produced feature films and television series in Los Angeles for studios and networks such as MGM, CBS, and in Europe RTL, SAT1 and SRF. In addition, Lehner successfully founded and managed several film, commercial and entertainment companies such as Whitenoise and Ping Pong Film. Lehner is executive producer at Shortcuts. The advertiser Bene Abegglen looks back on more than 30 years of experience in the scene. He successfully ran the Contexta agency in Bern with his former partners. Abegglen is a member of the Art Directors Club, has been repeatedly appointed as a juror at national and international advertising festivals and has designed and been responsible for over 150 commercials to date. In 2011, Bene Abegglen sold his shares in Contexta Holding and co-founded Shortcuts AG in Zurich.
Patrick Mueller, the social media inputter at Shortcuts, has a master's degree in architecture from ETH Zurich and has never spent a minute in an architectural office. Instead, he started his own business in the field of corporate identity during his studies and co-founded the Internet start-up DigaDing. Two years later, this led to the social media agency smly. Mueller is "the representative of the young generation" at Shortcuts.
"We are not an advertising agency, we do creation and production. We shorten the process. The name says it all: Shortcuts. We appreciate being able to work closely with clients and agencies. Having ideas quickly and being able to implement them quickly and economically," says Bene Abegglen, speaking for the team.

As the agency writes in a press release, the commercial is intended to raise awareness of the young private bank Notenstein and sharpen its image. In terms of content, it emphasizes Notenstein's ability to think in terms of scenarios in asset management as a response to an increasingly unpredictable and constantly changing world. With the TV commercial, Notenstein is breaking new ground in communication and thereby making its name known to a broad public, the press release continues. Notenstein's values, in particular forward-looking asset management, are to be anchored and dramatized in the commercial.
In this 30-second spot, the viewer is taken on a journey across the Alpstein region of Eastern Switzerland and experiences various moods along the way, which are underpinned by questions such as "Are we facing stormy times?" or "Do you know what tomorrow holds?". According to the agency, the honest and open answer "We don't know" is unique in banking advertising.
The Zurich agency and production company Shortcuts created and realized the TV commercial in close collaboration with the Notenstein Private Bank marketing team, in co-production with Solid & Hallerfilm and the directing duo Rainer Binz and Benjamin Kempf.
The TV commercial will be broadcast on the three public TV channels SF1, RTS Un and RSI LA 1, mostly during prime time - around the news bulletin, before and after the formats "10 vor 10", "Eco" and "Rundschau". In French-speaking Switzerland around "Le Journal" and in Ticino before "Telegiornale". The TV commercial is accompanied by a nationwide print and online campaign in the national and regional daily and business press. The photos were taken by the young Appenzell artist and photographer Ueli Alder realized.
The social media agency smly formed the foundation and was seamlessly integrated into the newly founded public limited company of the four equal partners. The result is a creative agency with a focus on social media and branded entertainment, according to a statement from the founders. Shortcuts combines creation, technology and production to create digital and classic advertising from a single source. The name says it all. All processes are reduced to the essentials. Shortcuts is a "one-stop store": agency and production company in one.
The two internet entrepreneurs Patrick Mueller and Marc Leuzinger, founders of the social media agency smly, have caused a stir in the Swiss advertising world on several occasions - most recently with the controversial and successful "Holidays without the internet" campaign for Switzerland Tourism, with which they won the Grand Prix at Eurobest, among others. Advertiser Bene Abegglen can look back on over 30 years of experience in advertising and more than 150 TV commercials. Together with his former partners, he built up the Contexta agency. The quartet is rounded off by Peter Lehner. The Swiss filmmaker has been working as a producer in Switzerland, Germany and the United States for 30 years. Lehner has directed and produced feature films and television series for studios and broadcasters such as MGM, CBS, RTL, SAT1 and SRF. He has also founded and managed several film, advertising and entertainment companies.
The agency is launching with a client portfolio that includes Allianz Suisse, Swiss Post, Switzerland Tourism, Swiss Television, Lindt and Swisscom.
