For five years now, Sharoo has been offering a platform for private individuals, companies, municipalities and superstructures to rent out their cars to third parties, and has meanwhile established itself as a real alternative to various mobility services. Since last week, slogans such as "Even in overpriced apartments you can move in cheaply" or "If our cars were even closer to you, it would be harassment" have been used to draw attention to the steadily growing offering of the car sharing platform. Seven different billboards are hanging in the cities of Zurich, Bern, and Basel.

"Sharoo rental cars are everywhere our customers need them to be, at fair prices and for a wide range of needs," explains Christina Alessio, Head of Marketing & Communications at Sharoo. "To charge this in a positive way, Sir Mary has once again developed a bright and sharp-tongued campaign for us that we are very proud of and that fits us perfectly."

Sir Mary kreiert für Sharoo eine provokative Kampagne mit Aktualitätsbezug https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/sir-mary-kreiert-fur-sharoo-eine-provokative-kampagne-mit-aktualitatsbezug/ Wed, May 2, 2018 2:41:31 PM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=98450 158963_ich-schlafe-mit-ihrer-tochter

Sharoo continues to grow: the platform now offers over 1600 rental cars for shared use. In order to position the car sharing platform's diverse range more clearly, the Zurich agency Sir Mary has developed a self-confident headline campaign in the "Dein-...-Auto" style. It focuses on the possible uses of the rental cars.

"Today's customers don't just know one way of getting around the city. They always use the one that suits them best. With sharoo, we can react very flexibly to this," explains Carmen Spielmann, CEO of Sharoo. "For the campaign, it was important for us to focus on the core of our offering: We offer rental cars wherever our customers need them. The new claim reads accordingly: Rent a car where you are."

The eye-catching headline campaign was refreshed with a new color scheme. Thirteen different visuals are used as posters in the Zurich area, with matching headlines at neuralgic points, such as in the vicinity of furniture stores, in the banking district or at the university. For example, the headline "Dein-günstiger- als-ein-Kaffee-in-Zürich-Auto" (Your-cheaper-than-a-coffee-in-Zurich-car) with an illustrated Smart car and "Dein-Shoppingtrip- nach-Deutschland-Auto" (Your-shopping-trip-to-Germany-car) with a minibus at the main railway station.

The poster campaign will be extended in the long term through various digital measures, all of which will be purchased programmatically and in a suitable context. A site bar was specially developed for this purpose, which can be edited in real time and can thus immediately refer to daily updates. The headline style also allows this on social media. The contextual motif with reference to the historic championship victory of the Bernese Young Boys made headlines on 20 Minuten in the very first week.

Webguerillas: Multichannel-Kampagne für Sharoo https://www.markt-kom.com/en/markom/webguerillas-multichannel-kampagne-fur-sharoo/ Sun, Nov 30, 2014 03:25:40 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=65442

Private individuals can use Sharoo to rent out their car on the online platform and earn some extra money. Renters become more mobile and only pay for a car when they really need it. This makes both economic and ecological sense: according to the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union, a car-sharing vehicle replaces an average of four to eight private cars. Nowadays, a car stands around unused for an average of 23 out of 24 hours*, which is a lot of unused potential. Sharoo offers a solution with which this potential can be better utilized in a simple way. Sharoo needs to raise its profile in order to achieve this even more comprehensively. The current campaign aims to attract additional landlords and tenants.

sharoo kicked things off with a colorful guerrilla campaign. For three days in November, colorful balloons with a voucher for the Access Kit worth CHF 399 were attached to cars in the city centers of Zurich, Bern and Basel. Job advertisements were placed in the Ronorp newsletter and on the social job-sharing platform Recomy, looking for "employees" who would like to earn some extra money without lifting a finger.

The statement "Let your car work for you" was also dramatized in a radio spot that is currently being broadcast on Radio Energy Zurich, Bern and Basel. As part of a cooperation, Sharoo is also providing information about the pioneering car-sharing model in radio interviews.

On a Saturday in November, sharoo also hijacked the parking garage at Limmatplatz. A manipulated ticket machine rewarded car owners with 20 francs for their parked car to illustrate the benefits of sharoo. The campaign was filmed and the video was published on YouTube, sharoo.com and other platforms such as Facebook and watson.ch - with over 100,000 views after just half a week, it is spreading like wildfire.
