The Swiss Gymnastics Federation (STV) and Ochsner Sport are continuing their collaboration with Jako for another six years. The partnerships will now run until at least 2031—and are being expanded at the same time: Ochsner Sport will serve as a Platinum Partner going forward, while Jako will assume the status of Silver Partner. For the approximately 375,000 gymnasts in Switzerland’s 2,650 clubs, this means long-term reliability when it comes to equipment and apparel.
In Swiss gymnastics, the significance of club uniforms goes far beyond mere sports equipment. Whether at practice, championships, gymnastics festivals, or club outings—uniforms symbolize unity, pride, and identity. For many clubs, the clothing is a visible expression of community and an important part of the Swiss club scene.
«With Ochsner Sport and Jako, we have two strong and reliable partners at our side who know the sport of gymnastics inside and out. The fact that both partnerships are being expanded and will continue through at least 2031 is an important sign of stability and continuity in Swiss gymnastics,» says Fabio Corti, President of the STV.
As Switzerland’s largest sporting goods retailer, with around 100 stores, Ochsner Sport has established itself in recent years as a reliable equipment partner for the federation and its clubs. CEO Horst Hauer emphasizes the strategic fit: «Switzerland is our playing field—and gymnastics is a central part of it. Our closeness to the clubs, the trust we’ve built, and our enthusiasm for physical activity are deeply rooted in our DNA. That’s exactly why this partnership with Switzerland’s largest multisport federation is such a good fit for us.»
Thanks to its high quality, reliable delivery, and wide product range, the German team sports specialist Jako has become one of the most popular apparel brands in Swiss gymnastics. «At Jako, we embody the »We are team’ values of integration, inclusion, and the joy of playing sports together. These are precisely the values shared by the STV. That’s why we’re excited to continue equipping gymnasts with high-quality sportswear in the future,” says Tobias Röschl, Head of Marketing & Sales at Jako.
The partnership is not limited to the day-to-day operations of the clubs. Ochsner Sport and Jako will also outfit the STV’s national teams and international delegations. This includes the delegation to the 2027 World Gymnaestrada in Lisbon, where Switzerland will be represented by the largest delegation, with more than 4,000 participants. According to the company, an exclusive special collection featuring a relief of the Matterhorn was developed for this event.
By extending their contract and expanding their partnerships, the STV, Ochsner Sport, and Jako are sending a joint message of quality, reliability, and the long-term development of Swiss gymnastics.
