This year, there should be no roses, no chocolate and no romantic dinner for Valentine's Day. Instead, a HeartCheck should be given as a gift - completely free of charge. The Swiss Heart Foundation recommends giving a HeartCheck as a gift for Valentine's Day. This gift stands for preventive care and heart health, which lay the foundation for a long life together - so that couples can still celebrate Valentine's Day at the age of 80.
The measures taken as part of the Prevention campaign "Know your values" The aim of the Valentine's Day campaign is to raise public awareness of the importance of the two key health indicators blood pressure and cholesterol. Those who are aware of these values at an early stage can take countermeasures in good time and thus increase their chances of growing old in good health. The broad-based prevention campaign aims to bring about a lasting change in behavior among the population. The HerzCheck serves as a tool for having important cardiovascular values measured quickly, cheaply and easily in over 600 pharmacies in Switzerland.
