To mark its 20th anniversary, the Swiss magazine Prestige has received one of the most exclusive awards in the luxury industry: As the only German-language Swiss publication, the high-end magazine has been officially included in the list of «TOP Luxury Media of the World 2026.» This list is published by the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce (WLCC), which brings together the world’s most influential media outlets in the luxury industry.
In the media world, inclusion in this circle is considered a great honor. The WLCC list comprises only publications that make a significant contribution to the global luxury debate—in key areas such as business, travel, gastronomy, design, fashion, art and culture, wealth, and lifestyle.
According to the announcement, the inclusion was the result of a rigorous internal selection process conducted by the WLCC. The main criteria for the evaluation are said to have included editorial quality, a high-caliber audience profile, a strong presence within the industry, and the overall contribution to the further development of the global luxury sector.
Editor-in-Chief Urs Huebscher commented on the award: «The fact that we’ve received this international recognition in our 20th anniversary year fills the entire team with great pride. It is a testament to two decades of first-class journalism and the trust of our discerning readership.» Publisher Francesco Ciringione adds: «This award spurs us on to continue playing a key role in shaping the future of the Swiss and international luxury sector.»
For 20 years, the Swiss magazine Prestige has, according to its own statements, stood for sophisticated journalism, aesthetics, and exclusivity. With a focus on haute couture, high-end design, watches, and jewelry, as well as exclusive travel features, the magazine aims to appeal to a readership with an appreciation for design and style, as well as decision-makers in the premium sector.
According to the company, its inclusion in the WLCC list solidifies Prestige’s position as the leading print medium in Switzerland’s premium segment and underscores its international influence.

In recent years, Anka Refghi has been editor-in-chief of the exclusive Zurich Bahnhofstrasse magazine. She has also worked as a freelance journalist for other Swiss magazines and publications in the luxury and lifestyle sector. For publisher Francesco Ciringione, who launched the glossy magazine Prestige in Basel in 2006 as the heart of the Prestige Media International media group, Refghi is the ideal choice for the Swiss edition: "Not only is she firmly anchored in the Swiss luxury and media world as a journalist, but as a classically trained professional musician, cultural manager and with her many years of experience as a consultant in advertising, she has a background that does justice to the multifaceted nature of Prestige."
Sabine Hauptmann has many years of experience in the media industry, which she gained in various positions at Condé Nast Verlag, Hubert Burda Media and the magazine of the Süddeutsche Zeitung. In recent years, in the position of Editor-in-Chief, she successfully established Women in Business and Womens`s Talk on the Swiss market.
Prestige Media International has been publishing Prestige, the Wemf-certified Swiss high-class magazine, for almost ten years. Last year, Russkji Prestige was also launched for Russians living in Switzerland. The publishing house also produces the titles Geschäftsführer (Basel and Zurich), KMU Rundschau, Energie Rundschau and Bundes Rundschau.
According to a press release issued on Thursday, those responsible for the magazine promote an upscale lifestyle that does not indulge in superficialities, but rather seeks out and enjoys special moments. "This philosophy has also convinced our Russian partners," emphasizes publisher Francesco Ciringione Prestige Media.
As part of Rundschau Medien, which also publishes the two magazines Energie Rundschau and Bundes Rundschau, the magazine KMU Rundschau is now published four times a year. As in the print edition, the online articles are divided into core sections that address the needs of SME managers. Rundschau Medien is a subsidiary of Prestige Media, which is responsible for graphics, production and printing.
The 44-year-old has been working as a motoring journalist since 1992, according to a press release. He has worked internationally for many titles and has written numerous automotive books. In 2006, he joined Automobil Revue in Switzerland as an editor and was responsible for the Drivestyle magazine there between May 2009 and May 2011. Pfannmüller takes up his new position with immediate effect.
Vectura is published quarterly and will also be available in retail stores from 2012.
