The footage was filmed in a specially built set over two days. A lot of attention was paid to artistic details, so that the viewer gets the feeling of the good old TV series. For this format lives above all through the tensions and entanglements of a wide variety of characters who clash at the central scene of the action. Like in the blood donation center, where everyone is welcome - regardless of origin, hair color, gender, political or culinary preferences, musical taste, and so on.

No matter how different blood donors are, they all have one thing in common: saving lives is in their blood, and those who do it demonstrate character.

Im USB-Jahresbericht von OSW antwortet die Direktion persönlich https://www.markt-kom.com/en/digital/im-usb-jahresbericht-von-osw-antwortet-die-direktion-persoenlich/ Mon, May 10, 2021 2:28:48 PM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=147942

Annual reports are usually a dry affair. Behind the numbers, the people in the company threaten to get lost. The 2020 annual report of Basel University Hospital now turns this around: Instead of simply publishing a series of long texts, important aspects of the past fiscal year are narrated directly by the respective members of the management themselves. As animated figures, they are available to answer questions.

In collaboration with the developers of Open Interactive, OSW has given the management a more personal touch on a specially designed website: On the home page, visitors are greeted by the hospital's management, which on closer inspection turn out to be not just static images, but avatars similar to those seen in computer games. Clicking on them takes you to a subpage on which the individual members of the management tell you personally how they experienced the past year. A series of articles on the company's core values underscores the fact that purely key figures cannot adequately illustrate the past year.

Stepping boldly into the future with transparency is the declared goal. The digitally embedded humanity should help to communicate this aspiration in a credible way.

The online Annual Report with numerous performance reports as downloads supplements the two print editions of the Group and Financial Report.

OSW bringt für die Sehbehindertehilfe Basel Licht ins Dunkel https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/osw-bringt-fuer-die-sehbehindertehilfe-basel-licht-ins-dunkel/ Mon, Apr 26, 2021 11:59:38 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=147201

The message of the campaign that OSW has implemented for the Visually Impaired Aid Basel is simple: to get help, all it takes is a phone call. By calling 061 564 04 04, visually impaired or blind people whose medical healing spectrum has been exhausted can receive free help in the form of consultations or access to technical aids for the professional and private spheres, so that those affected can lead independent and self-determined lives.

This was implemented with the motif of a telephone receiver whose light cone illuminates the number to be dialed and thus points the way like a lighthouse. When vision fades, the visually impaired aid can be the light that leads out of the dark.

In addition to a household mailing in the form of a telephone handset, the campaign relies on posters, short videos in public transport and a thank-you letter to doctors in the region, who are one of the most important links between those affected and the help available.

OSW hat für Abt Automobile die Mitarbeiter im Fokus https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/osw-hat-fur-abt-automobile-die-mitarbeiter-im-fokus/ Wed, 18 Nov 2020 06:46:56 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=125686 RZ_ABT_MINI_Herbstkampagne_F12_FAMILY

A family needs room to grow, an environmentally conscious single wants to drive on electricity, a young couple is looking for urban mobility, a group of friends is reminiscing. As different as the life situations are, so different is the suitable car model. Based on a questionnaire, OSW created a campaign from this idea that shows employees of Abt Automobile with their matching cars, thus addressing the people behind the purchase.

The subjects are broadcast both digitally and analogously, and in some cases closely programmed geographically. All employees were photographed together with the matching Mini or BMW car model at locations in Abt Automobile's catchment area.

Eine Kantonalbank gegen den Kantönligeist https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/eine-kantonalbank-gegen-den-kantonligeist/ Thu, 20 Feb 2020 10:40:19 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=119405 OSW_BLKB_Sampling1

The two northern half-cantons are separated by about as much as they are united. This has always meant that the cantonal banks stick to the cantonal borders. The Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank, however, wants to be closer to its 37,000 customers who live or work in the city canton and therefore dared to do the unthinkable: it opened a branch in the middle of the city. OSW accompanied this almost historic border crossing with an extensive campaign.

The agency's brief was simple: BLKB's move into the city should get into the heads of both cantons. In order to boost the talk of the town, OSW developed advertising media on numerous channels: a poster campaign, rail panels and public transport screens, special stickers on the town's public transport, an online campaign, social media posts, samplings at train stations. And a nighttime incursion by out-of-canton BLKB spies.

Guerrilla action

To appropriately stage the bank's arrival, OSW conceived a guerrilla intervention: overnight, balloons with speech bubbles in the style of the poster campaign appeared on well-known sculptures and statues in the city and let them talk about the bank's arrival.

BLKB_1

The night-and-fog campaign was announced and accompanied by short clips on social media, which also called for a competition to win an e-bike. It's a quick way to get from A(mmel) to B(asel).

Branch opening

To break the proverbial ice once and for all, passers-by were allowed to free a prize in the form of theater tickets, gold vreneli or shopping vouchers from a block of ice during the opening at the Barfi, wearing protective goggles and using their strength. If they managed to do it in time.

This should eliminate all fear of contact and not only make everyone aware of the arrival of BLKB in the city, but also: that what belongs together is finally together. OSW implemented all advertising materials and was responsible for the consulting.

Die Basler Agenturen OSW und Meier schliessen sich zusammen https://www.markt-kom.com/en/markom/business/die-basler-agenturen-osw-und-meier-schliessen-sich-zusammen/ Fri, 30 Aug 2019 07:38:41 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=114506 osw_gl_2019

Nadine Meier, owner of Meier, integrated communication, will join Ellen Zondler and Andrea Knapp to strengthen the existing OSW team and replace Nadine Siegfried, founder and owner of OSW, as managing director. Nadine Siegfried leaves OSW after fourteen years and goes new ways.

Thanks to the merger, the company will be there for its customers even more comprehensively and continue to help them succeed as a personal and owner-managed agency. The team of strategy expert Nadine Meier and creative head Michael Oswald promises an exciting future, the agencies are convinced in a statement on Friday.

The newly established agency, which will continue to bear the name OSW, has already recorded its first success: its contribution for a well-known Swiss bank on the occasion of a competitive presentation was directly crowned with success. The go-live of the campaign will take place towards the end of this year.

OSW was founded in 2005 and today consists of seven people and one apprentice. The current portfolio includes the University Hospital Basel, the health insurer Sympany, Basel Insurance, the Blood Donation Center of both Basel, the Shopping Center St. Jakob-Park, the Presidential Department of the Canton of Basel-Stadt and many more. Meier, integrated communications primarily serves Coop, including in the area of packaging, TopPharm pharmacies as well as SMEs of all sizes.

OSW sensibilisiert erneut für die Sehbehindertenhilfe Basel https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/osw-sensibilisiert-erneut-fur-die-sehbehindertenhilfe-basel/ Tue, 28 May 2019 10:15:17 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=111932 osw_sb6

Sehbehindertenhilfe Basel is committed to ensuring that visually impaired people can continue to live independently and also supports their families. In 20 years' time, there will be around 28,000 more visually impaired people living in the Basel area than there are today, which suggests that the population should be made aware of the issue and that the association's offers and services should be brought into focus. In order to achieve this, Sehbehindertenhilfe Basel has commissioned the OSW agency for the second time to implement an awareness-raising campaign (Advertising week reported).

The various offers are visualized with simple illustrations that can be interpreted in different ways. The key visual "spaghetti or thread", for example, illustrates the cooking and sewing offers.

The campaign can currently be seen on public transport, on posters, in various newspapers and on Facebook. A household mailing was also sent out.

Aus St. Jakob-Park wird Oster-Spiel-Park https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/aus-st-jakob-park-wird-oster-spiel-park/ Mon, 15 Apr 2019 05:11:59 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=110786 RZ_SJP_Ostern_2019_Keyvisual_Veranstaltung_Google_1200x300px

At numerous locations in the shopping center, visitors young and old can playfully pass the time for a whole week or compete against each other. Greetings and wishes to the Easter Bunny on a giant egg are just as much a part of the fun as "Ei love Hockey" - a special Easter air field hockey table. One of the highlights is decorating chocolate bunnies, which will be part of the program again this year on Saturday, April 20, 2019. As before, the proceeds will go to the Pro UKBB Foundation (University Children's Hospital of Basel).

OSW created a campaign in springtime green to appeal to families in particular. In addition to numerous analog games and skill challenges, this year there is a special kind of competition: a virtual Eiertütschen. You can register online in the St. Jakob Park app and try your luck at a big buzzer at the Eiertütsch stand. Numerous gift cards from the St. Jakob-Park shopping center will be raffled off. The games and fun increases the anticipation of Easter and lets you forget the otherwise ubiquitous shopping stress at this "time of year" for a short time. Emotion.company is responsible for the Easter game park activities.

This year's Easter subjects can be seen on Tele Basel, social media, as advertisements and, of course, in and around the St. Jakob-Park shopping center itself.

OSW created a visual for this with a multi-layered winter landscape in which one can literally dive in and discover something new again and again. Matching the decoration concept of emotion.company and the augmented reality "ice fishing" by Karling. "Ice fishing" is a virtual fishing game that allows customers to fish for gifts in the shopping center and on the streetcar via an app.

Customers are emotionalized

In addition, OSW was given the opportunity to "play" with the newly created motif on an entire streetcar. Anyone entering the tram is immersed directly in the Arctic Christmas feeling. In addition to the promotion of virtual ice fishing, the pre-Christmas program of the shopping center takes center stage. Once again this year, Santa Claus will be visiting, Harley carts will be riding in, and an ice fairy will be stopping by to tell fairy tales to the kids. There's even a visual freeze: Spectacular photos can be taken behind a block of ice. The emotion.company is responsible for the events.

Advertising on different channels

This year's Christmas subjects can be seen in or on public transport, on social media, as advertisements and, of course, in the St. Jakob-Park shopping center itself. The special highlight: The ice holes for the AR game are not only in the center but also in the BVB streetcar.

Start of the new fall fashion season! Although it's still a pleasant 20 degrees outside, the new fall trends need to be advertised. For the current autumn campaign of the St. Jakob-Park shopping center, OSW developed two subjects that, for a change, don't show fashion but autumn leaves in the form of a flip-flop and a bikini.

OSW lanciert Kampagne zum Start von mySympany https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/osw-lanciert-kampagne-zum-start-von-mysympany/ Tue, Jul 24, 2018 1:18:16 PM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=100716 osw_symp_dino

Submitting a claim voucher online or changing one's address - functions like these are not new. Most health insurers now have an online counter and a separate app for their customers. mySympany goes one step further: The portal combines the previously disconnected applications into one and scores with a uniform, intuitive look and feel on desktop, tablet and smartphone.

Goodbye, paper!

Oswald Siegfried Werbeagentur (OSW) developed the campaign and key visual for the launch of mySympany. With "Goodbye, paper!" and "Let paper mail die out," Sympany encourages its customers to register on the portal and handle insurance matters completely online - paperless - in the future.

Trigger-based communication

mySympany and the switch to "paperless" are promoted with trigger-based communication measures. Customers are approached in a cascade, target group-specific manner and via various online and offline channels. Examples: Sympany organizes a launch event and an incentive for employees; an article with a competition in the customer magazine highlights the advantages of mySympany; an explanatory video on the landing page provides information about the functions of the new portal; teasers on social media make people "curious" about mySympany; personal e-mails and a postal mailing convince customers of mySympany and the switch to "paperless".

The coordinated campaign measures are having an impact: mySympany has been successfully launched. The use of trigger- and cascade-based communication measures ensures the efficient use of resources, reduces wastage and increases the conversion rate.

In 20 years, there will be around 28,000 more visually impaired people living in the Basel area than there are today. Reason enough to focus on the offers and services of the association and to sensitize the population for the topic. With a 3-year, extensive awareness campaign, OSW is currently drawing attention to the Sehbehindertenhilfe Basel and the needs of visually impaired people.

Communication offensive launched

With radio spots, streetcar and bus advertising, advertisements, mailings to doctors and households, and other campaigns, it is currently going on the communications offensive.

New appearance

In addition to the creation of the campaign, the logo, the corporate identity and the website were completely revised and supplemented with new content - for example an explanatory film. The new appearance can be seen at Help for the visually impaired.ch.
