Match4Sport appeals not only to target groups such as expats, commuters, newcomers or singles, but to anyone who is open to new sports and partners. From American football to Zumba, people of all ages can choose from over 140 sports and activities. The free and ad-free app was also developed in collaboration with national sports federations.
In addition to the matching idea, the sports promotion platform is also intended to offer the smaller sports a low-threshold and digital entry option for people interested in their sport. In curling, for example, every club and every curling hall are already covered. "For a sport like curling, such an offer is of course ideal, so that our clubs can attract new members and present taster offers," explains Marc Pfister, CEO of Swiss Curling. This in particular also sets Match4Sport apart from the already existing clutch or leisure apps.
After registering, users enter their preferred sports and performance levels and can then search and match the right partner by region, gender or age. To enable users to find the nearest venue or club quickly and easily after a match, the first sports, locations and clubs can be called up in the Club and Location Finder.
In the coming weeks and months, the app will be continuously expanded. For associations and clubs as well as sports infrastructures and users, further features and locations will be developed and integrated step by step.
Match4Sport is a joint product of the two agencies Newcom Solutions from Muri-Gümligen and FairMatch Sports Marketing Bern and Zurich.

The Wankdorf Center, Lyssach Center, Centre Bahnhof, Langnau Ilfis Center and Heimberg Shopping are represented in the app. With the development technology from the new media agency Newcom Solution, mobile websites for each individual center were also created from the app at the same time, which are optimized for mobile devices. The app was developed using App24 a product from Newcom Solution. The product offers customers standardized apps that can be combined as desired. With the "Profit" module, discount codes can be created, which customers can redeem via code at the checkout.
This module is also used in the Bern EKZ app. Customers of the EKZ Wankdorf Center and other Bern shopping centers can receive discount vouchers for selected stores via the app. These can be redeemed directly at the checkout. A code is scanned in and the voucher automatically expires after use. In addition, information such as opening hours, events, and center maps for the selected center can be found on the app.
The app can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play.
