Since last week, perhaps the largest hidden pictures in Switzerland have been decorating the Mall of Switzerland. The largest measures almost 30 square meters. At four prominent locations, the illustrations invite young and old to a special egg hunt. Excerpts of the hidden object pictures were used in the form of teasers online and on posters and advertisements to prominently promote the campaign. The egg hunt will run up to and including Easter Monday, with family prizes worth 10,000 Swiss francs.
One year of Mall of Switzerland - that calls for a celebration. That's why James was commissioned by the Mall of Switzerland to create an interactive birthday concept. At the heart of the campaign and the event week was a central key element of O ine shopping: the receipt. Competitions such as "Bring the longest receipt, win 1,000 francs a day" attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the mall for a whole week. The current peak length is 90 cm. Of course, there was also a digital highlight. The "Receipt Snake" game quickly became a visitor favorite.
A congratulations competition with a video booth was also held to find the best congratulations and rewarded with shopping vouchers. As an additional attraction, high-wire acrobat Freddy Nock was on site until Saturday to provide entertainment with interactive live shows and balance workshops as well as a world record attempt on the final day.
The campaign was advertised with prominent key visuals on various channels and attention-grabbing radio spots, among other things.
Dance through under the closing store door after closing time and win prizes. With tenants such as Ochsner Sport, Nespresso and Adidas, the format established itself as a customer favorite, so that over 40 participants and over 150 spectators met for the grand finale. With the support of presenter Vamz, this turned into a small summer party in beautiful autumn weather. In keeping with the theme, there was a trip to the Caribbean, a surfboard including a wetsuit and free surfing lessons on the indoor surf wave to be won.
The event was promoted with a suitable radio spot and via various online channels. Cool Events was responsible for the on-site implementation.
The Mall of Switzerland is celebrating the opening of the indoor surf facility this week. It will be the first permanently installed indoor surf wave in Switzerland. To promote the new attraction, James has unceremoniously transformed a central element of articulated buses, the turntable, into a creative advertising space.
In a total of 25 buses of the Luzern public transport company, passengers can now practice driving a bus in the dry and then dare to ride a wet wave.
As in all modern shopping centers, childcare is an indispensable and versatile part of the offer at the new Mall of Switzerland in Ebikon (LU). Kaleidoskop Kinderland spreads out over 1,500 square meters - a colorful world where even baby and toddler are looked after while parents are out shopping.
The Zurich agency Matchcom was entrusted by the operating company Kalido with the conception, design and implementation of a comprehensive package of advertising measures as well as visual identity for the Kinderland. The basis was the communication concept incl. media strategy, which was also developed by Matchcom.
A special attraction was devised at the site: a human robot named Kalido - linked to an LED screen - talks to the children, answers questions and spreads even more cheerful mood in Kaleidoskop Kinderland.
Responsible at Kaleidoscope Kinderland: Karin Rösler (Head of Marketing). Responsible at Match Communications: Simone Bünzli, Patricia Müller, Christian Staub.
The Mall of Switzerland has organized an exhibition for Easter in which rabbits become movie stars: Ten famous movie scenes are recreated in elaborate displays with bunny puppets. Whoever guesses all the movies can win a trip to the Disney Film Studios in Paris.
Just as unusual as the exhibition concept is its promotion by Leo Burnett: the themes of Easter and Hollywood are brought together by transforming film icons such as Marilyn Monroe and James Bond into chocolate bunnies.
In addition to print and posters, the Easter campaign also includes radio and various digital and social media.

From the end of February, Switzerland's second-largest mall will be advertising its entire range of offerings in a basic campaign. 18 restaurants and cafés, 34 fashion stores with exclusive brands and a 1,500-square-meter children's land are just as much a part of the campaign as 60 films a day in 12 movie theaters, including IMAX. And as with the announcement of the test day in October (Werbewoche.ch reported), the focus is not on the mall itself, but on its visitors. So a clear focus on the experience of the individual customer. True to the motto that the Mall of Switzerland has written on its banners: "diini mall".
The range of products and services offered by the Mall of Switzerland is advertised on posters, advertisements and in social channels/media.
