LMS has continued to develop over the past few years. The team has gained experience, the internal processes have been established and the destination master plan has been implemented. Against this backdrop, the Board of Directors has decided to reorganize the company into a "management team structure" with Marc Schlüssel as Managing Director. Schlüssel has been with LMS for six years and has been Co-Managing Director since February 2024.
Marc Schlüssel is looking forward to his new role and emphasizes his passion for the further development of the region. Together with the team and partners, he wants to implement innovative and sustainable projects for the destination. The tasks of a destination management organization are diverse. By strengthening the management team and integrating it more closely into the management, the individual areas can be driven forward in an even more targeted manner. The new flat management structure enables better cooperation between all areas.
The gap created by the departure of Philipp Vassalli will be filled by the creation of a new area for the development of offers and experiences. Central development topics such as sustainability, non-motorized transport and digitalization will be located here. LMS is looking for an experienced manager to head up these tasks. Philipp Vassalli will continue to work for the Lenzerheide vacation region until the beginning of November. In 2025, he will take on a new challenge in the private sector.
The Board of Directors is convinced that these changes will enable LMS to drive innovation and continue to develop in order to offer the vacation region and its partners a first-class service in the future and provide guests with unforgettable experiences.
