The agency jim & jim has designed and implemented a comprehensive awareness campaign for ipso!, which, according to its own statements, is the leading provider of private education in northwestern Switzerland. Under the guiding principle «Education with Impact,» the campaign by jim & jim raises the profile of ipso!’s four major schools—IBZ, IFA, HWS, and NSH—and brings their respective strengths to life.
Ipso! brings together, among others, the four schools IBZ, IFA, HWS, and NSH under one roof. Together with approximately 1,000 lecturers and teachers, they provide the necessary conditions for more than 5,000 students. The differences and advantages of the individual schools should be communicated and positioned more consistently in the market. The brief given to jim & jim was to develop a communication strategy and an awareness campaign that would sharpen the schools’ public profiles and clearly position their respective strengths.
Why do people choose to pursue continuing education? Because they want to make a difference—for themselves and beyond. This insight gave rise to the guiding principle «Education with Impact»—a promise that unites while also distinguishing us. Accordingly, each program has its own impact: education that builds, for IBZ; education that connects, for IFA; education that empowers, for HWS; and education that matters, for NSH. Each school thus has its own focus while remaining part of a larger whole.

The execution is clear and straightforward: The focus is on people at a pivotal moment—the transition from continuing education to their professional careers. This transition is made tangible visually—in the video through smooth transitions from educational to work environments, and in the images through split screens that show both worlds simultaneously. In just two days of production, a versatile campaign was created featuring five different locations, four main videos, and four key visuals. A modular campaign approach that can be deployed across all channels in countless formats.
Sven Reichhold, Head of Marketing and Sales at ipso!, says: «2026 will not only mark ipso!»s 150th anniversary, but will also feature a well-thought-out awareness campaign that will enable us to position our schools even more prominently in the education market.”
The campaign refocuses attention on the strengths of individual schools and highlights what education should be all about: impact. According to jim & jim, the campaign’s modular approach allows it to be deployed across all channels, from digital advertising to social media and out-of-home media.

]]>Zurich Airport is more than just a transportation hub: with its numerous stores, restaurants and leisure facilities such as the Circle Christmas Village, it is also a bright place for practical and inspiring Christmas shopping, culinary breaks and shared moments in the run-up to Christmas. The campaign focuses on this emotional dimension. "Christmas together. At Zurich Airport." is the claim that captures the unifying and festive experience of the Advent season.
The video campaign comprises five storylines that depict the airport's different target groups - from travelers and shoppers to employees. In addition to the emotional encounter, the focus is also on the versatility of the airport as a place to arrive, store, experience and be together.
For the main video, Jim & Jim used a robotic arm for the first time, enabling precise movements, smooth transitions and impressive close-ups. By using this technology, the emotional moments of the Christmas season were captured authentically and intensively. The combination of technical innovation and sensitive imagery created a visual result that subtly stages the unifying power of Zurich Airport during the festive season with the commercial variety on offer.
Judith Krepper, Head Marketing, Flughafen Zürich AG: "The airport is a place where people from all over the world come together every day. 'Christmas together' stands for this special feeling and is more than just a slogan. It is our invitation to everyone to experience the Advent season at Zurich Airport. With the campaign, we wanted to show this warmth as well as the diversity of our offer. Jim & Jim achieved this balance with care and powerful images."
The campaign will be widely distributed in order to increase the frequency of airport shopping and promote offers such as the Circle Christmas Village, aviation experiences and Sunday opening hours. The campaign comprises a 40-second main video, five short clips of 20 and 10 seconds each and two key visuals in portrait and landscape format. The campaign will be played out via social media and display, DOOH and posters, cinema spots and the airport's owned channels.

The emotional communication and versatile playout is combined with a clear commercial objective: strengthening awareness of the shopping, gastronomy and experience offer and developing occasional visitors into loyal customers.

The agency jim & jim has implemented a comprehensive campaign for the building technology association suissetec that targets the younger generation with a clear social-first strategy. The association put the implementation out to tender via a two-stage pitch process. The campaign focuses on four storylines that address needs such as teamwork, a good salary, physical challenges and opportunities for advancement.
Head of Marketing Christian Brogli explains: "Trades offer clear advantages over many other apprenticeships: Teamwork is what counts here, and at the end of the day something real and tangible is created. It is precisely these strengths that need to be communicated in a concise and understandable way - and we have succeeded in doing so with this campaign."
The campaign was set up in three multimedia waves. Embedded ads of varying lengths were used on Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and YouTube, supplemented by display and audio ads. Behind-the-scenes material also ensures proximity and authenticity. The content is available in German, French and Italian.
The landing page toplehrstellen.ch offers young people a clear introduction. Stop-motion videos with the protagonists of the ads guide users further and are intended to retain the high-quality traffic. A/B tests and flexible budget allocation ensure the performance of the campaign.
Ann-Christine Lindner from jim & jim emphasizes: "With this campaign, we are targeting the worlds of young people with relevant short stories. We want to reach people where they are emotionally and geographically. The results of the first wave are clearly above the KPI benchmarks."

The measures were designed to make it clear that Uber Eats is now also available in the area where the campaign is taking place. Jim & Jim therefore developed a hyper-local staging that does not look like a large-scale international campaign, but is intended to appear Swiss, approachable and likeable.
The centerpiece of the campaign is a video that celebrates the diversity of the Uber Eats world in Switzerland: From Langstrasse in Zurich to snowy slopes in the mountains. At the center of it all is an Uber Eats driver named Tony.
Parallel to the video campaign, a hyperlocal poster and DOOH campaign is also going live - for over 20 cities throughout Switzerland. In cooperation with the Rod agency, Jim & Jim designed localized headlines that connect the Uber Eats service with the respective city.
During two intensive days of filming, an emotional long version with striking storytelling and snackable short formats for social media were created. The latter are optimized for soundless playback and the short attention spans of digital target groups.
According to the agency, a ten-person production team filmed at five locations with 15 actors and two huskies for that little something extra.

The campaign presents four different types of excursion, each of which embodies an aspect of the diverse region. Time-out artist Susie stands for relaxation and enjoyment, bucket-list heroine Esther wants to discover the big highlights, experience captain Nick stands for family-friendly adventures and curiosity pioneer Paul explores insider tips and hidden places. These four personas are designed to help users identify with the various experiences in the region and discover their ideal excursions.
The campaign combines video productions with an interactive landing page including a quiz that assigns users to their excursion type. High-quality imagery and static assets ensure a strong visual identity on digital platforms and social media. A competition also offers additional incentives for participation.
Jim & Jim is responsible for the design and implementation of the content campaign, which uses videos, social media content and playful user guidance to showcase the Lake Zurich region as an attractive excursion destination. The targeted approach to the Swiss target group raises awareness of the destination and encourages interaction with potential visitors.

The so-called hyperdigitalization confronts us with various challenges and opportunities. The younger generations, the so-called hyperconnected customers, were born into this era and are facing up to the ongoing changes. But what makes today's consumers tick and what basic behavioral patterns or needs must a brand pay attention to?
A new study by Jim & Jim and 20 Minuten provides answers. According to the study, the young generation seems to be going through life with a confident attitude, although this youthful optimism appears to be very superficial. Issues such as the current inflationary economic situation, expensive housing or the difficulty of securing financial security cause young people everyday stomach aches and fears about the future. More than half of the study participants stated that, in addition to personal development, work should primarily serve to secure their livelihood. Despite some factors that worry young Swiss people, the mood barometer appears to be more positive than that of their German and Austrian neighbors. The young people were also asked about sustainability:

The younger generation is increasingly consuming news via social media. Instagram is the absolute favorite with a share of 37% of all respondents, followed by the classic news apps with 22% and Snapchat with 15%. The uncomplicated consumption of content is a prerequisite. It can therefore be concluded that an omnipresence on social media platforms or other digital channels is expected nowadays. Although traditional formats such as newspapers or radio are consumed less frequently than social media, the young target group considers them to be more informative or more serious channels.

With its importance as a transportation hub and the associated flair of internationality and adventure, Zurich Airport is well known to the entire Swiss population. However, the airport is still little known for its non-aviation offering.
With a 360-degree campaign, the agency Jim & Jim wants to strengthen the airport's image as a destination for gastronomy, shopping and leisure and anchor it as a love destination among the Swiss population. The campaign aims to focus on the diversity and attractiveness of the airport and actively involve visitors on site.
The focus of the assignment was on the development and implementation of a cross-media awareness campaign, including the activation of visitors on site at Zurich Airport. With the newly developed campaign claim "Everything. And even more." was developed to highlight the airport's diverse range of services. The campaign was implemented in German and English.
An eight-part video series was also produced to highlight the airport's various offers and invite the target group to discover them. In addition, a mixed video was created with all partners to emphasize the diversity of the offer.
The moving image campaign is accompanied by eight key visuals and prepared in various formats for social channels, online ads, digital steles and posters. A specific video was produced for the ten-metre-wide digital widescreen in the passage to the Circle.
The campaign is rounded off by an AI activation in Airport Shopping. Visitors have the opportunity to create a digital travel diary. Artificial intelligence is used to generate five images based on a photo booth picture, which visitors can then stage at different destinations.

The campaign highlights the diversity of the degree programs and speaks directly to the target audience of the respective continuing education courses. Strong brand colors and large texts were used to attract attention.
The texts are aimed at two trigger points: Either they entice with the careers of internationally or nationally known personalities from the respective industries, such as Elon Musk and Nils Planzer. Or they skillfully use humorous puns that match the respective training courses. A total of eight study areas are advertised in these two ways.
With eye-catching texts such as "You want Elon's job? We can't give you Elon's job, but we can give you the booster for your career" for business informatics and "Be the machine among mechanical engineers." for mechanical engineering, are intended to appeal to potential students.
Each subject is intended to encourage people to find out more online about the further education courses on offer and to choose an individual career path. The OOH and DOOH advertising media are displayed in the schools' catchment areas.

The airport is successfully establishing itself as a desirable destination that combines shopping, dining, excursions, business and much more. The destination of the Fashion campaign was to present the airport's shopping expertise to a wider public.
Under the title "Fashion at Zurich Airport", the Fashion campaign the stage for the third time in the spring of 2023. Selected looks from renowned fashion partners were staged on unique backdrops inside the airport and presented digitally.
Jim & Jim's brief was to design and implement an innovative Fashion campaignwhich was presented both digitally and offline on diverse advertising spaces at Zurich Airport. The agency developed a novel video series under the motto "Fashion at Zurich Airport". The five-part series presented eight different looks from five fashion partners at five locations at Zurich Airport. The videos encouraged the target group to create and develop their own style at the airport.
In addition to the five brand videos, a mixed video was created this year that unites all five fashion partners. In addition, further social media content was developed in the form of animated image collages. All videos and images were prepared in various formats for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok as well as for digital screens and posters at Zurich Airport. For the 16-meter long widescreen in the passage to the Circle, a full-screen video was produced especially.
According to Jim & Jim, the campaign relied more heavily on innovative technologies to create a dynamic presentation. A 360-degree camera, specific POV scenarios and NeRF scans were used.
The 360-degree camera opened up an all-round view that harmoniously embedded the models in their surroundings. The POV shots were implemented using various constructions to attach the camera to different devices. NeRF scanning technology, supported by AI tools, generated 3D representations from 2D objects and scenes. These were exported as videos, with camera movements controlled by keyframes. Various model shots were processed as NeRF scans for this purpose.
The video content created was presented in various formats, both at the airport itself and as part of various digital advertisements. In addition to moving image content, the campaign also included a comprehensive collection of photographs that were used for an out-of-home campaign at Zurich Airport as well as on the website and social media.

Today's technological developments and thus the advance of digitization open many doors for young people to make their voices heard on different channels, to exchange ideas with each other or to follow trends emerging on the other side of the world. At the same time, the young generation is marked by crises and struggles with challenges of new origin. The Covid 19 pandemic has clearly left its mark, with young people no longer wanting to deal with the issue, but instead devoting themselves to other future-oriented concerns. What preoccupies young people in their daily lives and how do they deal with the challenges of today and tomorrow? What differences do we see with regard to these issues among young people from Switzerland's neighboring countries?
The "Young Swiss 2023 Study" provides a close-up look at the thoughts and feelings of young people in Switzerland, examining their lives in a variety of ways.
The News & Media Spotlight, for example, looks at the media use of young Swiss people and thus at the question of which channels they use to consume news. Young people are increasingly using social channels such as Instagram, with a share of 41 percent, or Snapchat, with a share of 21 percent of all respondents, to find out about various events or news, while classic formats such as newspapers are being used less and less.
The fast, uncomplicated consumption of content is a prerequisite here. Young people prefer to watch videos, with audio over text. With a share of 57 percent, Snapchat is still far ahead of Tiktok (36 percent) in terms of daily use. The platform BeReal is a major newcomer, which is already used daily by over 22 percent of young respondents.
The study was developed in collaboration with the German youth and trend researcher Simon Schnetzer and in partnership with 20 Minuten. For the study, a quantitative, anonymous online survey is conducted every year, which delivers authentic results and addresses current focus topics from the target group.

The agency is constantly expanding its content and creative team and tries to find and promote young talent. "Our agency thrives on the passion of creative people who can use the whole spectrum of channels and formats and are not afraid to make the new approaches of cross-channel storytelling palatable to clients! We are delighted to be able to take another development step together with Melanie and Bianca," says Fabio Emch, CEO of Jim & Jim.
