The new sound design should reflect the station's distinctive DNA and further strengthen the positioning of the premium brand, according to a statement. It was created at Pure Jingles in Hilversum NL, which specializes in visual branding. The sound designers have taken the familiar audio logo and gently developed it further. From now on, five different moods underline the day and ensure that James FM is immediately recognized at any time.

In addition to the new sound, James FM also features two other well-known radio voices: Zurich's Michèle Fasler, formerly of Radio Zürisee, and Basel's Finn Rasmussen, formerly of Basilisk, Virgin Radio and Flashback FM, join the Voices station team.

In addition to the main program, James FM now broadcasts a program and advertising window adapted to the region in Upper Valais. This will also be broadcast on DAB and via streaming. As Station Voices, the Valais musicians Sandrine Meichtry, Rolf Schnider and Mike Sterren ensure regional anchoring.
