How do resistant fruit and vegetable varieties develop? What role does cow dung play in healthy soil? And how much pesticide is needed? The new image film by Maybaum Film for Agroscope addresses a wide range of questions. To illustrate the diversity of the competence center's research activities, the film team travelled through Switzerland and filmed in Affoltern ZH, Conthey, Leytron, Central Switzerland and the Jura, among other places.

Agroscope conducts research in areas such as agroecological production systems, sustainable livestock farming and the development of climate-resistant varieties. The film aims to make the scientific work behind these topics tangible. "I was particularly impressed by how Agroscope uses targeted research to develop new varieties of fruit, vegetables and cereals that are more resistant and better adapted to future climatic conditions," says camerawoman Aline Pulver.

In addition to the cinematic realization, the musical design was also in the hands of Maybaum Film. The specially composed soundtrack combines natural sounds with modern elements to emphasize the connection between science and nature, as audio engineer Tim Zumstein explains.

The main film can be viewed on the Agroscope website and on YouTube and is also used at events, trade fairs and during visits. In addition, short versions were created for social media to make the research content accessible to a wide audience.

Tincan has produced an image clip for the Bossard Group that provides a stage for the invisible heroes of the industry. With a cinematic look, the film shows fasteners and employees whose important work often remains in the background, but who make a decisive contribution to the success of their customers.

Cinematic storytelling for more emotion

The image film relies on a strong visual narrative that brings viewers closer to the importance of these silent heroes. With a cinematic look and intense images, the film pays tribute to the work of employees in logistics and industry in an impressive way. This approach conveys the topic emotionally and authentically, so that the film not only informs, but also touches. The - sometimes small and inconspicuous, but elementary - connecting elements and solutions are also put in the spotlight in the film and heroically staged.

Recognition for the invisible heroes

"It was important for us to highlight the often hidden effect of correctly used fasteners and solutions. These small parts are usually totally underestimated, but make a huge contribution to our customers' success. We wanted to move away from the image that we are perceived as a simple 'screw supplier'," says Alain Bollschweiler, Head Communication & Branding at Bossard Group. "Tincan's image film has achieved this and shows how important fastening technology and the employees behind the scenes are for the company, without ever being in the spotlight." The film leaves a lasting impression and draws attention to the valuable work of these "hidden heroes".

"The image clip for the Bossard Group illustrates how films can be used as a medium to convey meaningful messages in an emotional and captivating way," summarizes Baris Erdal, Motion Consultant and Senior Partner at Tincan.

Responsible at Bossard Group: Alain Bollschweiler (Head Communication & Branding); Marleen Seilheimer (Senior Corporate Communication Specialist). Responsible at Tincan: Baris Erdal (project management, concept, direction), Balin Imfeld (camera, editing), Ephraim Tännler (camera assistant), Jana Meyer (production assistant), Marc Odermatt (lighting), Andrin Hettinger (drone).

Maybaum Film zeigt für Alterszentrum St. Bernhard die menschliche Seite der Pflege https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/maybaum-film-zeigt-fuer-alterszentrum-st-bernhard-die-menschliche-seite-der-pflege/ Mon, Oct 14, 2024 11:40:24 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=225012

The video is intended to convey that both employees and residents at the St. Bernhard retirement center have "more of life". The time factor becomes the central element in the video and ends with the question: "Isn't it time to get more out of life?".

To this end, the video follows real employees as they go about their daily work in close contact with the residents. By showing the daily tasks and harmonious teamwork, the film offers an authentic insight into everyday working life on site and highlights the attractiveness of the retirement home as an employer.

At the same time, the everyday life of Mr. Stalder, a fictitious resident of the retirement home, is followed. The film takes viewers through his day. However, various real residents were also involved in the filming alongside the actor. "We had an incredible number of wonderful encounters with the local people on set. It also required a lot of flexibility on our part, as our extras were quite busy and sometimes had to change their plans spontaneously," says Alex Büche, director of the project. "In my opinion, the film illustrates the sense of community at the St. Bernhard retirement home and how well the residents are doing there."

The film "Mehr vom Leben" balances between image film and employer branding film. It is primarily used for recruiting and employer branding, but is also intended to give future residents an impression of the St. Bernhard retirement center.

Responsible at the St. Bernhard retirement center: Peter Wyss (Managing Director), Karsten Sasse (Head of Care & Nursing), Janine Jud (Head of Marketing & Communication). Responsible at Maybaum Film: Flavio Alraun, Michel Frutig (overall responsibility); Michel Frutig, Remo Wyss (concept); Alex Büche (director); Nikolas Reigel (camera & editing); Silvan Michel (color grading); Tim Zumstein (sound design/mastering).

Maybaum Film erneut auf Deutschlandtour für Eigens Apothekengruppe https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/maybaum-film-erneut-auf-deutschlandtour-fuer-eigens-apothekengruppe/ Mon, Aug 26, 2024 2:37:50 PM +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=222137

Owner-managed pharmacies and especially the good old village pharmacy are increasingly under threat in the face of political conditions, a shortage of skilled workers and growing competition from online pharmacies and large franchise providers. The latest image film by Maybaum Film now presents membership of the Eigens pharmacy group as a solution for a secure and, above all, digital future for independent pharmacists. The film aims to show exactly how this works in a friendly and entertaining way.

The film was shot over three days throughout Germany. A three-person crew from the production company traveled from Dresden via Strausberg in Brandenburg to Berlin to capture the right shots in various pharmacies and the Eigens headquarters. The challenges were the scheduling logistics, the tight time frame for the realization of the project and the requirement that the film should be very close to the previous collaboration from 2022 (Markt-kom.com reported).

The new film is primarily aimed at pharmacy owners who are potentially interested in cooperating with the pharmacy group. It will be broadcast on the company's owned media channels, website, trade fairs and training courses. It is intended to offer independent pharmacies an optimistic outlook and show how they can ensure their long-term competitiveness.

Responsible at Eigen's pharmacy group: Thomas Pfaff (Managing Director). Responsible at Maybaum Film: Michel Alraun (CEO & Founder). Production: Maybaum Film. Producer & Director: Michel Mandrake. Line Producer & Technology: Till Hüssy. Camera & editing: Aline Pulver. Color Grading: Silvan Michel. Music: Sidekick Studios. Sound design/mastering: Tim Zumstein.

It is up to Swiss Life employees to make targeted contributions so that customers can shape their lives in a self-determined way. Or in short: so that they have it in their own hands. The three red lines symbolize the lifelines of the right hand.

The film is primarily aimed at employees. It is part of the annual internal Group-wide kick-off events, which are attended by several thousand employees in total. It is also used at other events and on Swiss Life websites.

Seed developed and realized the film in close cooperation with Swiss Life. The film was directed by Simon Steuri.
