The branding and communications agency Geyst will be responsible for Bell Switzerland’s new, multi-year BBQ campaign. With the win of the GEYST Bell BBQ account, a team that combines fresh ideas with targeted expertise has come out on top: Creative Director Olivia Hug and Art Director Lukas Schnider approached the pitch as a young duo with great passion and brought in experienced reinforcements to help shape the strategic direction.
According to the press release, it became clear right from the first Chemistry Meeting that everyone shared a common understanding of the brand and the topic of grilling. This foundation carried the team through the entire development phase and was one of the reasons Geyst ultimately prevailed.
The pitch for Bell’s future barbecue campaign called for bold concepts and a compelling central idea. The core team led by Olivia Hug and Lukas Schnider impressed with their agility, creative ideas, and high-quality design. The team was strategically supplemented by ECD Rob Hartmann, who provided selective support for the project and offered crucial insights thanks to his many years of industry and pitching experience. On the account management side, Marianne Sauter, who joined Geyst in early September, was responsible for the process.
«It was absolutely brilliant teamwork,» the team says in retrospect. «The drive and positive energy were evident from the very beginning, both among ourselves and in our interactions with Bell. We really enjoyed the process, and that enthusiasm clearly showed in the final result and the presentation.»
With the account secured, Geyst is now moving forward with the implementation of the multi-year campaign. The pitch demonstrated just how much power lies in the synergy between fresh creativity and targeted expert input. This spirit will also shape Bell’s upcoming initiatives.

Olivia Hug has been with Geyst for several years and has helped shape the agency with her strong conceptual approach. Before joining Geyst, Hug gained experience at agencies such as TBWA, Department, FCB Zurich, CRK and Havas.

He is moving from the Farner agency to Geyst, where he will design central client projects, further develop creative processes and help shape visual excellence across all channels.
The personnel decisions reflect the agency's culture of promoting internal talent and at the same time providing targeted external impetus. "Both bring skills, experience and passion, share our understanding of brand management and enjoy helping to shape Geyst further."

The focus is not on the hunt for experiences, but on the art of living in the moment. Instead of a hectic pace, the Val Surses offers space for genuine relaxation in the midst of the tranquil expanse of the Val Surses.
The campaign translates the claim "So close to another world" into imagery that connects people and landscape. The subjects get close to the people - without blocking out the vastness and beauty of the surroundings.
This balance between personal closeness and vast landscapes makes the imagery particularly authentic. It is intended to show: Val Surses is not just a place, but a feeling.
A special element of the campaign is the format "Our second homes": In short portraits, people who have been connected to the valley for many years tell their personal story. What brought them to Val Surses, why they stayed and which places they particularly appreciate. These stories not only strengthen the sense of community in the valley, but also show how deep the connection to this region can be.
The portraits are implemented as short interviews and supplemented by personal shots and favorite places of the participants. They give the campaign a face and appear close and authentic.

Geyst has created a new image campaign for the Valais mineral water brand that deliberately dispenses with classic narrative patterns. Under the claim "Drink still. Live loud.", the still water is to be presented as a lifestyle product with attitude - Swiss, young and self-confident.
The campaign approach follows the principle of "vibevertising": instead of a linear story, emotional moods are created. The focus is on visual stimuli, music and fragmented scenes. "We are not telling a story, but conveying an attitude to life," explains Olivia Hug, Art Director at Geyst.
For the production of the 360-degree campaign, Geyst worked with the production companies Marty-Trezzini and Tyma. The TV commercial was realized by the directing duo Synkron. The imagery for the accompanying OOH campaign was created by photographer Cyrill Matter, while Emil Maeder and Pauline Schmid developed the social media content.
The campaign aims to reposition Valais in the market and differentiate itself in a competitive segment. "The decisive factor is how we turn water into a lifestyle experience," explains David Wallmer, Brand Manager at Aproz Sources Minérales, which is part of the Fresh Food & Beverage Group of Migros Industry. The new image is intended to give Valais greater visibility and establish it as a self-confident brand with emotional depth.

The campaign is the direct realization of the valley philosophy "Val Surses. So close to another world". It is intended to emphasize the uniqueness of the valley and deliberately positions Val Surses as an alternative to mass tourism. Where other regions are overcrowded, the valley offers space for real experiences - be it hiking, biking or simply relaxing without the stress of crowds.
The message "In Val Surses you can spread out uninhibitedly" runs through the entire campaign and addresses both physical and mental freedom. Visually, the campaign relies on expansive panoramic subjects that present the landscape and activities in a clear, decelerating visual language.
The measures focus specifically on the quality of interaction rather than pure reach. Site engagement ads from Cptr reach the audience precisely and invite them to actively engage with the campaign content. The ads are aimed at real involvement instead of fleeting clicks - with a focus on length of stay, depth of interaction and relevance. In addition, a conversational ad was developed to address potential guests in a personal way and highlight specific offers in the region.

Zurich Altstetten - On August 22, Geyst hosted its annual agency party at the Nüni and celebrated its 10th anniversary at the same time. The anniversary marks a decade full of experiences, challenges and successes. The many partnerships, client relationships and friendships that have been forged along the way are just as much cause for celebration as the agency's birthday itself. With gratitude and pride for what we have achieved together and with joy for an exciting future.
Since its foundation in 2014, Geyst has developed into an established agency for brands and communication. "When we look back on the last ten years, it is the shared experiences, the highs and lows that have shaped us and made us strong," says Tanja Durband, Co-CEO of Geyst. "We look to the future with confidence. New projects, new ideas and new partnerships will accompany us. We are convinced that together - as a strong team with great customers and partners - we can still achieve a lot," says Co-CEO Reto Odermatt.
Happy birthday!

The Hotelplan brand has been synonymous with high-quality beach vacations and city breaks since 1935. Since then, Hotelplan Suisse has owned various travel brands with different orientations. To give the brand a clear profile, the company has invested in a refreshed look.
"With the new design, we want to carry the tradition and excellent quality of Hotelplan into the future," explains Simon Göldi, Director Marketing Hotelplan Suisse. The clearly defined yet highly flexible design system is intended to guarantee a recognizable appearance on the one hand and theme-, channel- and target group-oriented communication on the other. The first catalogs for the 2024 summer season were published in the new design at the end of December 2023. The Website of Hotelplan has also been given a fresh look as part of the redesign.
The brand identity remains central here, as this is where the understanding of the brand and thus also the connection with its appearance at all touchpoints is created.
As many stakeholder groups, partners and other service providers work with the brand, implementation and anchoring are extremely important: "We involved all stakeholders in the implementation process and took their possibilities and needs into account," says Simon Göldi, Director Marketing Hotelplan Suisse.

Winter vacations in Val Surses should be promoted as a relaxing retreat during the gray season in the lowlands. Geyst has now launched a new campaign for this purpose. The claim: "Don't just dream of winter vacations", because you are already "So close to another world". The comparatively short distance to the Graubünden mountain valley as well as the offer should invite you to make your dreams come true.
Who doesn't sometimes lose themselves in thoughts of sunny winter days on the slopes while working in the office, on business trips or commuting? The three central spots of the campaign exaggerate this moment by having the protagonists handle out-of-place winter sports objects in an everyday situation. The brief irritation for the viewer is followed by visually stunning sequences from the winter idyll of Val Surses, which are intended to inspire people to put their longing into action.
Geyst realized the commercials together with the production company Filmgerberei. The agency Capture Media was brought on board for the digital campaign.
Client: TSBA/Val Surses, Tanja Amacher, Luana Tscharner. Concept and design: Geyst AG, Sebastian Durband, Marina Hafner, Reto Odermatt, Johannes Just. Production: Filmgerberei GmbH, Marike Loehr, Silvio Gerber, Alun Meyerhans, Lea Filadoro. Media: Capture Media AG, Sandro Albin, Leona Zerr, Diego Unternährer.

With the question "Technology in your blood, the star in your heart?" Mercedes-Benz Trucks Switzerland is addressing young people who want to immerse themselves in the world of big trucks as part of an apprenticeship.
In many industries today, the competition for the greatest talents begins even before the vocational apprenticeship. "That's why we pulled out all the stops together with the Zurich agency Geyst," emphasizes Svenja Lyhs from Mercedes-Benz Trucks Switzerland. Thus, under the name "Next Generation Stars", both an apprentice campaign and a separate brand were developed. With an independent appearance and a language that is clearly aimed at a young audience.
The campaign includes a mobile-first microsite, outdoor advertising, a social media presence tailored to the target group, and other measures. In addition, a show truck advertises training at the company with the star. The truck can be found wherever young people are on the threshold of professional life: In schools, at career fairs, at sporting events or simply on the street.
"The most important thing for us was that the training companies of the Mercedes-Benz Truck dealers accompany and support the campaign with their current trainees," explains Lyhs. The current trainees provided input for the creation and appeared as testimonials in the social media videos.
The award for this "lifeblood project" is now the crown on top, which makes it clear that the campaign is perceived beyond the industry.
The campaign was honored with the Employer Branding Award DACH. The Employer Brands Managers Club and the employer branding agency Symbiosis are behind the award. The award in the category "Personnel Marketing & Recruiting" was presented on Wednesday at a festive gala in the Parkhotel Wien.
