With the first campaign, the partners want to offer the people of Geneva and Ticino the opportunity to win a stay in the respective other tourist region. The second competition is aimed at German-speaking Swiss. Quick decision-makers can receive a free train ticket if they visit both destinations in one trip this summer.
"Many Swiss will be booking vacations in their own country this summer," explains Angelo Trotta, director of Ticino Turismo. "Thanks to the partnership action with our colleagues from Geneva, we want to help promote domestic tourism - and on the one hand invite the German-speaking Swiss to visit both other language regions this year. On the other hand, we also want to encourage guests from French-speaking Switzerland to get to know Ticino."
Adrien Genier, Director of Genève Tourisme, is also pleased with the collaboration. "This collaboration shows the complementarity and diversity of the Swiss tourism offer. This summer is the ideal opportunity for our guests to rediscover their own country while enjoying a guaranteed change of scenery."

With a new print campaign, the young Geneva-based agency shows why it is worthwhile to Coffeeshop Birdie to visit: He's known for serving coffee that everyone likes. At least on this point, everyone agrees. The ideal place, then, to settle a conflict over coffee. Cavalcade shows with a wink that even with the most diverse demands, there's always a common denominator - and it's hot, liquid, and smells like roasted aromas. (hae)

The largest grouping of independent pharmacies in German-speaking Switzerland with its health coaches offers this individualized advice tailored to the destination.

Three different subjects focus on the main themes of sun, digestion and emergency kit.

The campaign has just kicked off and is being used on posters, brochures, flyers, store windows and online advertising.

This time, too, drawings by schoolchildren made it possible to develop visuals for the entire canton. Cavalcade thus directly addresses the child that slumbers in all of us. From the drawings, a campaign was realized with a total of eight subjects, each of which was signed by its drawer.
With the Predecessor campaign Cavalcade has recently won a "Bronze Cube" at the ACD Annual Awards in New York. Previously, the agency has already won the Swiss Poster Award Bronze and at D&AD secured a Wood Pencil. (hae/pd)

During Advent, the main facades of the two Globus buildings in Geneva and Zurich Bahnhofstrasse shine with a huge light installation on the theme of "Swiss Christmas", complementing the city's Christmas illuminations. The TGV-Lyria rail company is promoting its new "Hi-Five" offer. The target group for this new package is young people under the age of 26. By traveling in groups of 3, 4 or 5 people, they benefit from special preferential fares within Switzerland and France. In the course of this, TGV-Lyria has again decided to cooperate with Havas. The two have already been working together since 2008. Havas was entrusted with the development of the entire campaign, which included both the naming and the conception up to the launch of the offer, as well as digital measures. The name "Hi-Five" is universal, understandable in all languages and up-to-date. Images of the young travelers via Instagram are used for the campaign.

Culture flourishes in Geneva. The city is known for its theaters, bars, public beaches, parks, festivals and concerts. Despite a positive budget, the new government decided in 2016 to cut social and cultural spending. This decision threatened the survival of many cultural institutions and occasions.
Although Geneva's electorate had the opportunity to speak out against the planned cuts at the ballot box, most people took little interest in the vote. Instead, they preferred to enjoy the summer in the city to the fullest, with all its threatened benefits.
In response to the lack of interest, the agency Cavalcade launched the campaign "Ripping Instagram appart". On Instagram, all the pictures were collected, which showed the threatened places and events. The photos were "ripped" and accompanied by an explanation: "Hello @xxx. Do you like this place? Then vote NO on June 5 against the proposed cuts. #unevillequivit".
Hundreds of images were torn up and reposted. With success: At the ballot box, 60 percent of the votes were against - and thus the salvation of many cultural events and institutions.
