Bern-based agency Studio Thom Pfister is developing the rebranding and a new website for food manufacturer Frigemo, which is part of the Fenaco Group. "Studio Thom Pfister prevailed due to their broad food experience combined with their proximity to our locations," explains Renate Schaffner, member of the Executive Board and Head of Marketing/Sales & Sustainability at Frigemo.
The first implementations should be seen by the end of 2025.

From crop planning and the use of drones for pest control to smart farming using AI - the potential of data-driven agronomy is diverse and is being increasingly tapped. The Fenaco agricultural cooperative wants to be a central driving force for Swiss agriculture. Fenaco's brand identity is intended to do justice to this creative role while at the same time preserving the anchored cooperative values.
The new appearance positions Fenaco as a strong sender for producing agriculture, beyond the classic agricultural idyll. The image and illustration world creates new thematic focuses along the claim "de la terre à la table". At the same time, Fenaco should be able to present itself optimally at digital touchpoints with a responsive design system and make itself visible as a sender.
The further development of the brand was realized in cooperation with the Made Identity agency from Zurich. In a brand audit, the basic needs for the revision were identified, and the brand architecture with many sub-brands was also revised and consolidated. The brand identity developed on this basis will be rolled out successively throughout Switzerland in the coming months.

Those responsible for UFA-Revue together with the printing company PMC, a company of the Schellenberg Group, have found a more ecological variant for the packaging. Starting with the latest October issue, the protective film of UFA-Revue has a recycled content of at least 70 percent. With this step, the trade magazine is one of the first print titles in Switzerland with such a high proportion of recycled plastic. The monthly title, which has a circulation of over 72,000 copies, saves around 1.54 tons of virgin plastic per year, which corresponds to a saving of almost five tons of CO2.
Recycled plastic improves the eco-balance
Recycling plastic is generally more environmentally friendly and less raw materials such as petroleum are consumed. This conserves natural resources and helps save CO2. Packaging expert Roland Hischier from the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Testing and Research (Empa) in St. Gallen confirms this: "The higher the recycled content of plastic packaging, the better the eco-balance. Paper envelopes are not an alternative, because their eco-balance is clearly worse due to their significantly higher weight.
Protective film therefore remains the number one method for securely mailing magazines in terms of handling and environmental footprint. And with the waste film content of 70 percent, even more so. "The topic of sustainability is central to agriculture and therefore also important editorially," says Markus Röösli, publishing and editorial director of UFA-Revue. "By increasing the recycled content of the protective film, we are now not merely reporting on sustainable topics, but are making an active contribution to conserving resources," Röösli continues. In addition, the film is 100 percent recyclable and can thus be returned to the plastic cycle.
Great demand for sustainable packaging solutions
The new type of protective film was introduced in cooperation with the PMC print shop. Thomas Keller, Managing Director of the print shop, notices a general rethinking among customers. The desire for more sustainable solutions is increasingly an issue, he says. "After the go-ahead with UFA-Revue, we will completely switch our foil stock to ECO recycled foil with 70 percent recycled waste foil and thus use this foil as standard." In total, this will save the print shop up to 50 tons of new plastic, which equates to a saving of up to 160 tons of CO2.
The customer magazine Agro Current is Landi's central communication medium for its customers, the farmers. Regional factors and customer proximity play a particularly important role here: In order to respond to local conditions, each Landi writes its articles independently. The medium should therefore be managed decentrally and yet be perceived as a unit. After all, Fenaco attaches great importance to adhering to its corporate design and corporate identity.
To meet these requirements and replace the previous tools, a new web-to-print solution was needed: "We had in mind a simple, intuitive application that on the one hand allows individual handling with regard to content and design, but on the other hand also enables a uniform appearance in decentralized practice. Together with Stämpfli, we managed this balancing act and found a holistic solution for us," says Stefan Stettler, Head of Landi Arena.
Stämpfli prevailed over the competition and won the tendered contract. The Smart_Lab web-to-print application offers ideal solutions for decentralized companies and enables highly customizable communication. With Smart_Lab, 100 Landi branches now produce their own Agro Aktuell independently, quickly and easily.

A comprehensive service package for Fenaco
In addition to the simplified implementation of the magazine Agro Current Stämpfli also advises Fenaco's corporate communications department on publication processes. For the brochure Fenaco uses Target range to the Stämpfli EditorBox, which facilitates editorial workflows. In addition, the former image database was replaced by Elvis DAM to ensure correct, clean storage and more efficient and uniform use on the various publication channels. Fenaco also counts on Stämpfli's experience and quality when it comes to printing. Thus, in addition to the "target ranges", various employee magazines are also produced by Stämpfli in sheetfed and web offset.
