Faces-Magazin geht nach Österreich und in die Welt https://www.markt-kom.com/en/medien/faces-magazin-geht-nach-oesterreich-und-in-die-welt/ Wed, 15 Nov 2023 10:38:32 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=206512 The lifestyle magazine Faces is expanding and, in response to high demand from many countries, is launching its own edition of the magazine in Austria as well as an international edition. Contrary to the general industry trend, the Swiss and German print titles are growing strongly in both markets. With the relaunch last year, with which the media brand focused on even more quality in terms of content and feel, Faces was able to position itself even more strongly in the luxury segment, particularly in the fashion, jewelry and watch segment.

"There is currently a huge gap in the media market in Austria when it comes to high-quality fashion and lifestyle magazines. We want to close this gap and will therefore be the only German-language lifestyle magazine to cover the entire DACH region with an independent issue," says publisher Stefan Berger. The first country issues of 2024 will be published in March. The first international issue in April.

Faces neu auch in Russland https://www.markt-kom.com/en/medien/faces-neu-auch-in-russland/ Thu, 29 Aug 2013 22:50:52 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=56026

According to the press release, the expansion is continuing: following the launch of Faces Germany in November 2012, the first edition of Faces Russia will now follow in fall 2013. While Faces Germany is published by the Swiss publishing house itself, the company is working with a local partner in Russia. The rights have been secured by the publishing house "000 Eternity Productions", which was founded for this purpose. According to Filipp Schleiger, the publisher of Faces Russia and managing director of "000 Eternity Productions", Faces is intended to "build a bridge between the fashion cultures of East and West. We searched all over Europe for a fashion magazine with a strong identity. Faces is the ideal choice: it stands out from other magazines at first glance and has an extremely high recognition value."

The editorial concept and layout of the German-language edition will also be retained in Russia, while the content will be supplemented by local personalities and topics. The first issue will be published in October with an initial circulation of 50,000. For Stefan Berger, co-publisher of Faces, the expansion into Russia is "a further step in the development of Faces into an international lifestyle brand."

Faces: Freude über Verkaufszahlen in Deutschland https://www.markt-kom.com/en/medien/faces-freude-uber-verkaufszahlen-in-deutschland/ Mon, 22 Oct 2012 10:48:10 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=49650

"With our first IVW-checked circulation, we have achieved our interim goal and successfully launched Faces on the German market. The positive trend within the quarter also shows us that we will soon be able to reach our next target of 80 - 100,000 copies sold," explains publisher Stefan Berger in a press release. Together with his brother, he founded Faces in Switzerland over eleven years ago. The magazine has also been available in Germany since March 2012.

"We have also broken new ground in sales and launched cooperations with trendy fashion stores throughout Germany. This allows us to reach our target group perfectly and our advertising customers are delighted. Not least thanks to such innovative partnerships, we have been able to increase our subscription circulation to over 15,000 copies," explains Berger.

Since September, the magazine with the most Facebook likes in Switzerland has also been available in pocket format (Werbewoche.ch reported).

Faces erscheint neu auch im Pocketformat https://www.markt-kom.com/en/medien/faces-erscheint-neu-auch-im-pocketformat/ Tue, 28 Aug 2012 08:35:46 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=48474

The new format is Faces' response to the increasing mobility of urban readers, according to a press release issued on Tuesday. The aim is to find space in a ladies' handbag or a tablet computer bag.

While pocket formats have been firmly established in the magazine landscape in the USA for decades and are also becoming increasingly popular in Germany, not a single lifestyle title has been published in pocket format in Switzerland before, according to the press release.

Stefan Berger, publishing director and co-publisher: "Our typical reader is 30 years old, works in a large economic area and is often on the move, both professionally and privately. She can easily take the pocket edition with her wherever she goes and pick it up whenever she needs it. This gives readers more flexibility in their media usage and increases the likelihood that the magazine will be read. Ultimately, advertisers also benefit from this with their advertising message."

The pocket edition was already tested in Germany in June/July of this year in cooperation with over 200 boutiques. Reader feedback on the smaller format was so good that the publisher has now decided to bring the pocket format to newsstands in Switzerland. A launch at newsstands in Germany is planned for the October issue.

Facts about the Faces Switzerland pocket edition:

- Dimensions: 168 x 219 mm
- Retail price at newsstands: CHF 3.50 (identical to the normal issue)
- Circulation: Test circulation of 5,000 (in addition to the normal circulation of 40,000). The final circulation for 2013 will be decided in November
