The protagonist in the film challenges the entire workforce in her search for the perfect packaging: from the pattern makers to the master finishers to the specialists on the punching and folding machines. However, the film not only tells of the uncompromisingly hard-working workforce, but also of the family loyalty of the small Swiss company Glanzmann, according to the press release.
Element P tested a new approach for the script. Instead of extensive research, the story was developed in a one-day workshop together with around ten specialists from the cantonal police based on authentic cases. By the end of the day, not only was the script and dramaturgy in place, but the most important protagonists had also been cast and the filming locations determined. After two busy days of shooting, the film was ready.
For Andreas Mock, Head of Communications at the Solothurn Cantonal Police, it was an exciting experience: "The timing was sporty. But it allowed us to get to the heart of the matter quickly. The result speaks for itself."

Now also in English version
The film "Silent Drowning" is so far available in German, French and Italian. Now, the short, moving film is also available in an English version called "Drowning is quick and silent." "We at the Swiss Lifesaving Society SLRG are focusing our campaign on Switzerland," says Anita Moser, head of the "The Water and I" project, adding, "Water accidents are the second most common cause of accidental death among young children in Switzerland and worldwide. With the spot, we want to raise awareness among as many people as possible from as many cultural backgrounds as possible so that they always keep an eye on their children near water and stay within reach."
All four language versions of "Lautlos Ertrinken" were realized by the Biel-based film agency Element P, directed and shot by Daniel Reichenbach.
Together with co-director and editor Reto Waser, director and cameraman Daniel Reichenbach created "A Palace Story", an "ode to the team". According to the agency, the service at Badrutt's Palace Hotel shines out over the snow-covered mountains of the Engadine into the world. "This film is dedicated to the 520 employees of the hotel, who guarantee the legendary service of this hotel day after day with heart and soul. A kind of bottom-up story with a Cinderella effect," says Reichenbach.
"A Palace Story" is the third film that the agency has produced for Swiss 5-star hotels such as the Bellevue Grand Hotel in Gstaad and Les Trois Rois in Basel.
"This film is futuristic and at the same time very human. The relevant Metrohm topics are in it, perfectly balanced between lightness and complexity," praised Metrohm CEO Christoph Fässler at the premiere. The Metrohm International Headquarters film project posed the question: How can highly complex technologies at the limits of what is technically feasible be communicated to a wider audience in such a way that they remain enthusiastic until the end? How do you present the value of a vertical range of manufacture of almost 100 percent? How do you show expertise and passion? "In the future, corporate films will increasingly become a key medium in corporate communications," says director Reto Waser.

The film was made as part of the SLRG kindergarten project "Water and me".

Wetzen, Head of Marketing and Communications Schindler Elevators, co-writer/director: Reto Waser, camera Daniel Reichenbach). An internal Schindler Group initiative to optimize customer relations.
