The core of the new appearance is a collage style with images that emphasizes complementary medicine as the USP of the EGK: parts of the human body are used in black and white, colored objects as well as graphic elements in the colors of the extended color palette. This was supplemented with earthy, mineral natural tones.
A uniform image and word concept runs through all elements. While the previous logo bar has been dropped, the logo, typeface and claim ("Gesund versichert") remain unchanged. The result is a strong visual identity that can be easily applied to the various products and messages.
The new imagery will be used for all print and web products, as well as for the company's internal and external image, and will also be used from June onwards in a campaign aimed at raising EGK's profile. In doing so, it hopes to attract new policyholders, especially among the 25 to 40 age group, who are interested in holistic treatment methods.
The new image was designed and implemented by the Zurich-based communications agency Artischock.

The strong commitment to sustainable issues - especially among the younger generations - underlines how important a healthy environment is for the future. EGK Gesundheitskasse was an early adopter of complementary medicine and is consistently pursuing the path of sustainability. The new campaign gets to the heart of this attitude, using cross-media and authentic testimonials.
Urban, close to nature, demanding
The campaign, consisting of posters, advertisements, online measures and documentation, is green in the truest sense of the word. The eye-catching key visuals show testimonials surrounded by plants and wild nature. The aim is to target young people who care about a healthy environment. EGK shows that its commitment to the environment has a long tradition and is constantly being expanded.
Landing page with a heart for nature
On the campaign landing page Egk.ch/protection EGK employees, insured persons, sportswomen and therapists report on the reasons why they recommend EGK. The various testimonials are intended to make EGK's arguments authentic and credible - because no currency is currently more important than credibility.

A healthy environment is more important than ever for our own health. EGK commissioned Dachcom with the implementation of the annual report as a Online version and as a print edition in large A3 format. In addition to the latest figures on the 2019 annual results, the magazine portrays various environmental activists: from unpackaged store founders and the ecomini house developer to a pragmatic waste sherpa and an innovative underwear designer.
Video tips for a healthy environment
The work of the people portrayed is revealed in various interviews in words and pictures. Video impressions were also recorded during the shoot. This resulted in environmental tips that encourage policyholders to become active themselves.
EGK-Gesundheitskasse relies on the personal responsibility of its policyholders. Comprehensive knowledge is the best prevention. This should also be reflected in the 2019 Annual Report.
Long-standing mandate
Dachcom and EGK look back on many years of cooperation zürich. Making EGK-Gesundheitskasse's commitment to greater sustainability in communication visible is the primary goal of all measures.

Forest filling station. Happiness factor Singen. Edible city. These are the topics for the EGK themed health walks from April to October 2017. They will take place in various cities in Switzerland (Bern, Zurich and French-speaking Switzerland). Starting point: two prominent personalities (one presenter, one guest) are out and about talking. And interested parties - equipped with an audio system - are there live.
The themed walks are combined with first-hand insights. The participants are inspired and enjoy the leisure time. The fact that they also get some exercise reinforces the healthy effect.
Founded in 1919, EGK-Gesundheitskasse has grown in a pioneering role that treats complementary and conventional medicine equally. Clear, human and close to its customers, EGK makes a contribution to people's well-being and to the socially sustainable development of healthcare costs. According to the press release, EGK's themed walks should also be seen as a preventive pioneering act. As a means of communication for the "Sinnieren & Flanieren" themed walks, Dachcom developed a Microwebsite posters, advertisements, cinema spots, trend cards, flyers and social media measures.
