This year, for the 24th time, the Swissfilm Association is organizing the Edi. Award, under the patronage of the Federal Department of Home Affairs. The submissions were judged by two different jury teams: The shortlist was judged online and the best award was judged live. The most important evaluation criterion is the audiovisually convincing implementation of the communication assignment. The script, direction, picture, sound and editing must therefore form an artistic unity that does justice to the content conveyed and implements the client's task for the production in a meaningful way. A winning film must demonstrate absolute excellence in all film disciplines.

Once again, many very good works were submitted in 2023, 47 of which made it onto the shortlist. This corresponds to around 20 percent of all submitted films. They include campaigns from Denner, Migros, Switzerland Tourism, Digitec Galaxus, Ochsner Sport and many more.

Which films will win will be revealed on November 2 at the Edi. Award at the Schiffbau in Zurich.
