The redesign of the team by Eclat is intended to reflect the exceptional quality of the magazine through high-quality layout, text and images. The challenge in the implementation was to bring the wide-ranging content into a clear and reader-friendly structure. With more white space, new fonts and a balanced color concept, accents were set. In reference to the rainbow, the agency plays with the identifying symbol of the worldwide LGBT community. Hatched areas and simple lines give the magazine a uniform look.

Starting this September, the magazine will also be represented in Germany with a German edition.

Since September 2014, the management of Eclat is complete again after the founding partner left the company in May. With Sebastian Lenggenhager, the team has been strengthened by a management-experienced expert in brand consulting and communication design.
Forty-three-year-old Sebastian Lenggenhager brings a broad knowledge base from many years of work in the field of communications and brand consulting as well as at the interface with design and interior architecture. He gained his first experience in the industry at Eclat, where he worked as a designer and key account manager from 1995 to 2000, among others in a team with Werner Rudolf.
After several years as an independent entrepreneur, Sebastian Lenggenhager worked for NOSE Design for over ten years, most recently as a partner responsible for one of the five branding business units. There he provided important impulses for Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Saab and Chevrolet and for their worldwide brand appearances. Sebastian Lenggenhager and his team have also looked after clients such as SWISS, Betty Bossi, RUAG, Swiss Olympics, Allianz and VIVA.
Helm Pfohl has decided to take the step into self-employment after more than eight years as creative director and member of the management team at Eclat. He continues to support Eclat with his expertise in creation as well as in advising key clients.
Sebastian Lenggenhager not only completes the management team at Eclat, but also enriches the agency's range of services in the field of branding.
]]>In keeping with the 10th anniversary, the creator of the trophy - Pedro Pedrazzini from Ticino - was present, while the prize sponsor news aktuell presented the coveted "Communicators" trophies to the winners.
This year's Corporate Communications Award honors the projects "Eclat/Rod Kommunikation - Integrated Communication SBB" and "Swiss Life Zurich - Transformation Communication in Three Acts" as outstanding examples of both networked and powerful corporate communications. The SBB campaign stands out, among other things, for its consistent but also highly creative networking of corporate communications forms, media and messages. Swiss Life's project is characterized by its pronounced dialog orientation, which led to relying on the communication potential of the participants and insights from other disciplines such as mediation.

Bettina Bickel, Award-CC Jury President on the submissions and the two winning projects: "This year's crop of submissions reflects the development, but also the current trends, risks and opportunities of networked corporate communications in an excellent way". Other nominees this year were: Heads for Amag, Zurich Airport and LST Schenker for Wolfisberg Tor-Technik.

In addition to the presentation of the awards, the evening focused on a relaxed exchange between exponents of the communications industry and an entertaining awards gala. Pedro Pedrazzini outlined to the audience how he designed the "Communicators" trophy ten years ago. Young musician Julian Pollina, alias Faber, enchanted the audience with his song "Award-CC," composed especially for the 10th anniversary and based on its original title "Bleib dir nicht treu."

"We would like to thank all our sponsors, the applicants, nominees and the audience for this great evening yesterday and congratulate the award winners once again", initiator Roland Bieri summarizes the tenth Award Corporate Communication. For several weeks now, discussions have been underway with renowned institutes and organizations about possible collaborations and the future of the national industry award, Award Corporate Communications. The initiators and organizers will provide information about the decisions in due course. One thing is already certain, however: the next Award Corporate Communications will take place in 2015.

BSSM with new mandates

BSSM is pleased to announce two new mandates. The Foundation for Health and Nature has commissioned the agency to develop all communication measures from the CD to the website. The foundation promotes projects that guarantee a long-term beneficial effect on people, nature and the environment. The focus of the private foundation's commitment is the well-being of children. It also supports projects in the fields of medicine, mountain aid, nature and fishing. The Foundation for Health is based in Basel. It was established in 2013 and is governed by Swiss law.
BSSM has developed various B2B measures for Qontis, the first independent personal finance manager (PFM) in Switzerland. Trendcommerce receives major order for Cumulus mailing from Migros

Trendcommerce wins another major project and will process the bimonthly Cumulus mailing for Migros in future. Well-known customers such as Raiffeisen have already placed their trust in Trendcommerce to handle the printing and mailing of their customers' account statements, and now Migros is also relying on the St. Gallen-based SME. Every two months, Cumulus participants receive their current personal account statement by post. The mailing includes additional discount coupons that are specifically tailored to the customer's interests. In addition to the clear track record, the most important reasons for awarding the contract were security, efficiency and the wide range of customization options at the modern printing center in Gossau (SG).

In May 2014, the last founding partner of EclatDaniel Zehntner, has withdrawn from the operational business. Werner Rudolf takes over the helm as Managing Director. The twelve-strong team is positive about the changes. "We are looking forward to bringing our creativity to the projects in the proven quality and realizing outstanding means of communication," says Werner Rudolf, who has worked as a consultant at Eclat since 1996. "A high standard of design and enthusiasm for experimentation" is how Helm Pfohl describes the agency's maxims. Helm Pfohl has been creative director at Eclat for eight years and a member of the management team since 2010.
Soon to be three decades of independence
Eclat was founded in 1988 by four young men. In 1991, the company had six partners, including three visual designers, two 3D designers and a copywriter-concept developer. In 2002, Andreas Weiersmüller acquired a stake in the company, which had been hit hard by the bursting of the dotcom bubble. Despite the economic challenges, Eclat was able to maintain its independence. Andreas Weiersmüller is still Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eclat today.
Innovative spirit as a constant
The common thread always remained the same: the demand for good design and openness to new ideas. In the founding years, Eclat advertised a job with the following text: "Eclat is a design agency. We do what we want with Macintosh systems." A little later, the designers also showed no fear of contact with multimedia and the Internet. Today, Eclat is one of the design agencies with the most experience in the production of media with publishing systems. The design team has received several international awards in recent years. In 2013, Eclat was included in the ranks of the 50 most creative design agencies as a "European Design Leader" and has already been nominated several times for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Franz & René has been awarded the national advertising campaign for the launch of the Sel des Alpes brand as part of an agency competition. The campaign, which includes various advertising media, will be discovered in the spring of next year.
Eclat wins Megasol as a new customer

Eclat is happy to have won the competitive presentation of the Swiss solar manufacturer Megasol. The mandate includes the revision of the brand identity as well as the communicative measures. "Solidity alone is unstable - it takes agility to remain truly stable," says Markus Gisler, founder and CEO, about the upcoming changes to the brand identity and his convictions to succeed in the market.
Originating from a studio in Chur, Maurusfrei has retained the practical, down-to-earth side of building, but with its location in Zurich and its international projects, it is facing up to the demands of an urban environment, according to a statement on Thursday. This combination is to express the brand identity: independent and concise, idea-driven and agile.
The lettering "Maurusfrei" is characterized by geometric shapes with flowing boundaries. Just like well-executed architecture, it adapts to the circumstances so that, depending on the size of the application, it becomes compact or readable as a kind of geometric pattern.
The heart of the new brand presence is the new website Maurusfree.ch. As is usual in the architecture industry, the reference projects play an important role. However, the people, their profile, and the work processes are given just as much importance in the presentation. All communication media were designed and implemented to match the website.

By 2015, according to a federal decree, the rectors' conferences of the universities, the universities of applied sciences and the universities of teacher education must be merged into a single institution. To prepare for this integration, the association Swissuniversities was founded last November. From 2015, the brand will then also represent the new Rectors' Conference of Swiss Universities. The committee of Swissuniversities had chosen Eclat in a competition at the beginning of the year.
Just in time for the board meeting on June 12, 2013, the corporate design of Swissuniversities is introduced only four months after the project start: With all letterheads, office templates, the building signage and with an informative website, also optimized for output on mobile devices. The logo is a simple word mark, which is to become a strong statement with four exclamation marks through a small intervention - the fourfold reversed spelling of the letter "i": Study, teach and research in Switzerland as a statement of first-class education in a very special environment. By choosing "Swiss red" as its logo color, Swissuniversities wants to send a clear signal of its origins on the international stage.
"Each board member interpreted the logo proposal differently, but all felt spontaneously addressed and unanimously recognized commitment and movement!" says Mathias Stauffacher, Secretary General of Swissuniversities. "The appearance is - as we wanted - simple and at the same time self-confidently dynamic."
Responsible at Swissuniversities: Mathias Stauffacher (Secretary General), Maja Bütikofer (Communications). Responsible at Eclat: Janine Widler (consulting and project management), Hanna Hor-warth (design), Tobias Rechsteiner (web design). Programming: Daniel Gäumann (web goods).

60 millimeters x 180 millimeters: These are the dimensions of the printed Sanitas teaser for the Online Report 2012 at Report.sanitas.com. With these dimensions, the printed version should unofficially qualify as the smallest annual report in the world, according to a press release. However, the focus is not on the Guinness Book of Records, but on the online report, the centerpiece of Sanitas' annual reporting.
While most companies rely on a flip book or a PDF for download for their corporate reporting, Sanitas relies on a complete online report with moving images and various other features. The background to this is the strategic conviction that the topic of online plays at Sanitas. This is reflected in the new digital customer portal and also in the Sanitas Online Report, which is seen as the company's annual calling card.
The online report focuses on the new Sanitas claim: "A lifetime". Portrait series of different people show the changes in a person from birth to the present day. They also show that needs change over the course of time.

In collaboration with the Eclat agency, SBB called on people throughout Switzerland to submit travel stories of all kinds in November 2012.
