Last Sunday, the 2017 DMA International Echo Awards were selected in New Orleans (USA) during the "&then", a premier event for data & marketing with over 100 speakers and 4000 delegates from around the world. The ECHO Awards, presented by the Data & Marketing Association (DMA), represent outstanding, creative, data-driven marketing.

With the agency at the airport, a Swiss agency stood at the top of the podium in the category "Best Use of Direct Mail". The "Hockar Mailing" for the St. Gallen design chair specialist "by marei" was honored with an ECHO Award in Gold as the best direct mailing by the large international jury of experts, which consisted of clients and agency people and judged in three rounds. The airport agency was the only German-speaking agency to win gold. In addition, with its "Langfingermailing" for "Helvetia Versicherungen", which has already won several national and international awards, it also took a place in the top five in the highly competitive industry category for data-based, creative insurance marketing.

The DMA International Echo Awards stand for outstanding, data-based and creative marketing. After two online rounds, the jury - creatives from all over the world and marketing and campaign managers from renowned companies - met for the final round in New York. In addition to a number of Cannes winners, two entries from the Agentur am Flughafen also made it to the final and are therefore still in the running for a gold, silver or bronze award.

The nominees in the "Direct Mail" category are the "Hockar Mailing" for the St. Gallen design chair specialist "by marei", which was entered in a competition for the first time, and the "Long Mailing" for "Helvetia Versicherungen", which has already won several awards in the "Insurance" industry category. The DMA International Echo Awards will be presented on October 8, 2017 in New Orleans (USA).
