Founded in 2010 by a group of surf-loving entrepreneurs who wanted to challenge the excessive fast fashion industry and conventional surf fashion, Twothirds has built a profitable business model in the fashion industry over the past 14 years. With the pre-order system, production from sustainable materials and the processing of residual materials, they have developed new ways in slow fashion to minimize waste and thus live up to their mission: to protect the ocean for future generations.

With the campaign, Twothirds is pursuing expansion plans: the brand wants to finance its entry into global, high-growth markets and transition from a successful online-only D2C business to an offline B2C and B2B business. The wholesale business has already started with great success in 2024, and the investment in innovative business models for a sustainable circular economy is intended to create additional sources of income and brand value. In doing so, the company is aiming to change the fashion industry sustainably as a leading provider. "We have big ambitions. Our goal is to build the world's largest blue community committed to conscious and transformative consumption. We started from scratch. Today, we are 700,000 people who share the same values and a deep connection to the ocean," says Lutz Schwenke, founder and CEO.

Oomnium: Neue Crowdinvesting-Plattform mit neuer Kampagne https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/oomnium-neue-crowdfunding-plattform-mit-neuer-kampagne/ Thu, 11 May 2023 07:19:39 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=197427 On the new crowdinvesting platform Oomnium, people living in Switzerland can invest a few hundred to several tens of thousands of francs in companies for which ecological, social and societal goals are just as important as a financial return. At the same time, Swiss start-ups and SMEs realize their growth financing with a large number of investors. Often, it is their own customers, employees and the community who want to participate in the future success of their favorite companies as co-owners.

With elleXX, Nanimale, Parkn'Sleep and Yamo, four Swiss start-ups went online at the same time, relying on the crowd to finance their growth. The result: Only two days after the launch, more than 1,000 investors with more than 1,200,000 Swiss francs invested were on board. The campaigns run for one month, and you can participate from 231 Swiss francs.

Campaign by Sudio Thom Pfister

Studio Thom Pfister developed the visual appearance of the Oomnium launch campaign as well as the image concept of the employee:inside shooting for website and social media communication. Unusually staged objects provide for unconventional and attention-grabbing campaign images. In combination with the expressive headline "Kiss my Assets", it sums up Oomnium's self-image in an ironic way. "Venture Crowd Capital" is their progressive answer to a financial world driven by profit maximization and high returns. With growth financing via a community, they show that economic success can also be achieved differently.

The images were staged by photographer Dan Cermak. The four static and animated subjects are symbolic of the four start-ups crowdfunding online. The website was developed by digital agency Liip, which chose an open-source e-commerce framework (Vendure). During conception and development, a strong focus was placed on the check-out phase, as the strict legal requirements stipulate an identity check of the user:inside. In addition, the bounce rate is kept low during the purely digital purchase process.

In collaboration with Sanerstudio, which was responsible for the UX and design of the platform, this has resulted in a smooth customer experience that is constantly being improved in the agile setup.

Oomnium is backed by the crowdfunding pioneers of Wemakeit, who realized a crowd takeover with digital shares a year ago. More than 5,300 shareholders invested over CHF 7 million.

Für armutsbetroffene Seniorin: PAM-Co-Founder richtet Crowdfunding ein https://www.markt-kom.com/en/markom/fuer-armutsbetroffene-seniorin-pam-founder-richtet-crowdfunding-ein/ Thu, 13 Apr 2023 11:14:55 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=196167

On Wednesday, Parvez Sheik Fareed, co-founder of the PAM Advertising agency, posted a touching text on LinkedIn: "The SRF program "Mona mittendrin" on April 12 featured a report on Monika, a 75-year-old pensioner affected by old-age poverty. Her biggest dream: to get to know Switzerland by train - but that is not financially possible for her. So that it doesn't remain a dream, I have set up a crowdfunding to collect money for a senior GA for Monika. Anyone who would like to donate, click on the link. Thank you."

The senior citizen Monika Steiger had told Mona Vetsch that she had slipped into a spiral of debt due to the care costs of her now deceased husband. She had to live on only CHF 1,100 a month after all deductions, and sometimes felt "like a beggar." before. A vacation had already not been possible for decades. Hence also the - modest - wish for a GA, which however seemed unfulfillable.

Until the intervention of Parvez Sheik Fareed: The original goal - the amount of CHF 3,000 - was already reached on Thursday. Almost 80 donors had followed the call of the advertiser; the senior GA for pensioner Monika is thus already secure. Nevertheless, the campaign continues, because the initiator states: "If more than the required donation amount is collected, the surplus will go entirely to Monika." Who would like, can become active under this link.

With the new funds, Farmy plans to invest in the coming years in the expansion of the e-vehicle fleet and the free delivery zone, among other things. At the same time, the online store also wants to expand its product range and make the shopping experience more pleasant.

For private investors, the crowdinvesting campaign will be open from October 26. New shareholders who bet on the potential of the share would additionally benefit from free deliveries for three years, double the number of loyalty points, a voting right, and semi-annual insights into the business figures.

According to its own information, Farmy is the third largest e-food company in Switzerland. More than 1200 products from farmers and food producers are offered on the marketplace. (SDA/swi)

Yes! Creative Digital Marketing bringt Online-Kulturmagazin Frida zum Fliegen https://www.markt-kom.com/en/medien/yes-creative-digital-marketing-bringt-online-kulturmagazin-frida-zum-fliegen/ Tue, 05 Apr 2022 10:21:52 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=168745 FridaYes! Creative Digital Marketing is the new Swiss online cultural magazine from the Chur-based publisher Edition Frida. Edition Frida publishes journalistic texts and films on cultural topics and is launching its biggest project to date with the online magazine Frida. In order to launch the culture magazine as planned on March 21, 2022, sufficient seed capital had to be generated. This is where the Chur-based agency Yes! Creative Digital Marketing came into play. With a large-scale campaign, it asked the target audience to take out a subscription and thus support cultural journalism in Switzerland. To say it right away: The goal was not only achieved, but even exceeded.

The various subjects of the crowdfunding campaign were played out digitally in German-speaking Switzerland on social media, via newsletters, and as display and search ads. With success: At the Crowdfunding campaign on Wemakeit, significantly more than the targeted CHF 70,000 was reached and enough subscribers were gained to get Frida off the ground. With Frida, the founders of Edition Frida, Brigitte, Luis and Mathias Balzer, clearly hit a nerve: "Because we urgently need good cultural journalism", "I support the project because I find high-quality journalism in the field of culture necessary", "Diverse cultural journalism is essential! Thank you to everyone who is fighting for it," to quote just a few of the comments on wemakeit.

Yes! Creative Digital Marketing also supported the makers of Frida with the implementation of the website designed by Luis Balzer and coordinated the extensive process. The website was developed by freelance developer Cyrill Lehmann aka Adabs Urdum, with whom Yes! had already collaborated for the Rhaetian Railway. www.fridamagazin.ch is based on a custom WordPress theme, into which Lehmann integrated a subscription system with the help of zahls.ch, where payment can also be made with Twint. Thanks to the crowdfunding campaign, the new online portal launched with 900+ active users. It is connected to the Swiss media database with an RSS feed and presents the editorial content in an appealing and modern way. Interactive animations of Luis Balzer's key visual in Frida's corporate design give the website an additional dynamic.

Kernbrand für Liber: Die Buchhandlung als Lieblingsort https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/kernbrand-fuer-liber-die-buchhandlung-als-lieblingsort/ Wed, 10 Nov 2021 15:13:35 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=160897 Kernbrand Buchhandlung

"My bookstore is my absolute favorite place." This sentence from Head of Content & Strategy Gisèle Ladner is also the guiding idea behind the national communication campaign for the Liber project. Because the campaign is not only intended to draw attention to the ongoing crowdfunding on Lokalhelden.ch, but also to lure more people back to brick-and-mortar bookstores.

The latter has been struggling for years against the growing share of sales of online retailers and has come under additional pressure due to the Corona crisis. Authors and publishers in Switzerland have also suffered greatly from the fact that many trade fairs and events could not take place in the last two years.

Crowdfunding with special Merci

The key element of the project is crowdfunding on Lokalhelden.ch. As a thank-you for their support, patrons receive a Liber voucher, the value of which is increased by a fund to which cantons, cities and foundations contribute around 400,000 Swiss francs in the form of emergency Corona aid. This sum has been collected jointly by all the trade associations involved in the book market - A*ds, Alesi, Livresuisse, SBVV and Swipps. The Liber vouchers can be redeemed in over 400 bookstores throughout Switzerland.

Kernbrand Buchhandlung

A small cross-section of Swiss book creation

Kernbrand designed the multimedia communication campaign for the Liber project. The key visuals are intended to show a small cross-section of Swiss book creation. All the books featured in the four images are by Swiss authors or publishers. In addition, the book fans were photographed on an armchair from the Swiss company De Sede.

Cross-media campaign in three languages

The cross-media campaign includes a landing page on which the more than 400 bookstores where Liber vouchers can be redeemed can be found. In addition, social media subjects in three languages, POS material - posters, bookmarks and cardboard displays - are used to promote the campaign in over 400 bookstores, as well as various texts for media releases and other channels.

Schläfle Trittibach setzt den Veloturm von V-Locker in Szene https://www.markt-kom.com/en/kreativity/kampagnen/schlaefle-trittibach-setzt-den-veloturm-von-v-locker-in-szene/ Tue, 07 Sep 2021 10:47:50 +0000 https://www.markt-kom.com/?p=157014 Schläfle TrittibachThe company V-Locker has developed a parking tower in which bicycles can be conveniently stowed in individual boxes and stored on top of each other with the help of a rotation lift. In addition, the box can also accommodate a helmet, clothing, sports bag or shopping bag. The Velobox at the destination can be booked via an app before departure. The automatic bike tower is also operated via smartphone.

In cities, the topic of densification is omnipresent; free spaces are scarce in urban areas. The issue also affects space-intensive facilities such as parking facilities. With vertical space utilization, the parking tower can accommodate up to 60 bicycles in the space of one car parking space. Expensive earthworks are not necessary, and the tower is also mobile. It can be moved in a maximum of 48 hours - helpful when local situations change.

To ensure that the first bicycle towers will soon be ready, Schläfle Trittibach has been commissioned to develop a crowdfunding campaign. The goal is to install the towers at various train stations. The more parking towers that are installed, the denser the network of secure parking facilities will become.

The campaign can be seen on posters and social networks.

Responsible at V-Locker: Jens Kirchhoff (CEO), Hubert Müller (CMO, Marketing & Sales), Elisabeth Brand (Communication & Sales), Thomas Klosa (CGI Artist Meyer-Hayoz). Responsible at Schläfle Trittibach: Marcel Schläfle, Christoph Trittibach (Creative Direction).
