Partners and customers of Advery now have the opportunity to launch their communication measures or advertising campaigns in a climate-neutral way. To do this, the CO2 emissions of a campaign are first determined using the Climate Partner calculation tool. These can then be offset via various climate protection projects in which CO2 is saved, e.g. through reforestation measures. For each climate-neutral advertising campaign, Climate Partner provides a certificate and a label with an order-related ID number.
With the new offering, Advery aims to consistently develop its strategy of positioning itself as an agency in the field of sustainability communication and social responsibility. A new position has also been created for this purpose: The Responsible OSR and Sustainability.
Advery is part of the eastern Swiss media house Brüggli Medien. Together, Brüggli Medien and Advery have developed the label "OSR - Our Social Responsibility". OSR aims to create an economy with a positive social impact.

Companies and organizations that also assume social and environmental responsibility and act sustainably have a clear competitive advantage with critical customers, Brüggli and Advery write in a joint statement. But they can only benefit from their commitment if it is transparent and perceived by the public.
Today's consumers are also more demanding and critical than in the past. It is no longer enough to offer high-quality products and services at an attractive price. What counts more and more is whether and how a company is socially committed and how sustainably its products are manufactured.
The new OSR label is now intended to help develop and map commitment and create the desired transparency. The label stands for the harmony of social mission, economic demands and pronounced quality awareness with added value for all stakeholders - customers, suppliers, partners, the public - as the statement continues. "In this way, we want to be a beacon for a new idea of what economic work and social commitment can mean. Anyone who works with Brüggli Medien or Advery is supporting our social mission and doing something good. We want to reward that with our OSR label," explains Stefan Grob, agency manager at Advery, who helped develop the label as the initiator.
OSR aims to create an economy with positive social impact. "OSR is guided by values such as participation, sustainability, transparency and the four principles of the Conscious Capitalism movement: Conscious Leadership, Prosperity & Meaning, Involvement of All Reference Groups, and Culture of Responsibility," Grob said.
Progressive companies and strong brands grow beyond their end in themselves by committing to ideas that benefit the community and serve coexistence. They seek a good balance between market success and ethics. Says Stefan Grob: "Global development shows: If you want to be successful in the long term, you have to do more than just improve your profits as quickly as possible. More and more people as well as organizations are paying attention to exactly who they are cooperating with. They are interested in working conditions and procurement policies, and they want to see how exactly the company interprets its role for and within society and how it treats individuals."
OSR is primarily aimed at business partners. The new label is the logical complement to the existing label "My Social Engagement", MSE for short, with which Brüggli specifically addresses the buyers of Leggero and 4pets products as well as the guests of the Usblick restaurant.

The Swiss Professional Nursing Association SBK is the first point of contact for nursing professionals and offers its members a wide range of services. At the same time, the association also advocates for its members at the political level.
In several workshops, the project team at Advery worked together with the SBC to develop the structure and concept of the new website. The information architecture was completely revised, and in the process the original 200-plus subpages were reduced to less than half without any loss of content. After the solid basic framework was in place, it needed the right cover.
The new screen design results in a coherent whole. The appearance including the logo was refreshed, current photos were shot and suitable icons were illustrated. The website is responsive - i.e. it can also be used optimally on mobile devices. Visually, the professional association now appears fresher, younger and more charming.

"At Advery, they train young people in difficult situations. They know the challenges for young adults around new media. Of course, this fits perfectly with our project," explains Regine Rust, head of the Stiftung Suchthilfe St.Gallen. The original idea was to go to schools with an information stand and distribute double-sided cards, each with a question on the front and an answer on the back. As a result of Corona, however, this idea had to be abandoned.
Accordingly, an online solution for this action has now been developed together with Advery. The cards are now available on the website Appschalten.ch and can be easily used via smartphone. When the card is tapped, it rotates, revealing the answer.
In a first step, Advery developed the naming. Finally, the name "AppSchalten" was chosen for the project - a name that picks up on the theme with a wink. In a second step, Advery created the corporate design for all campaign instruments. This includes the information stand with rollups and posters, table displays for the refectories and online displays. The design with the speech bubbles is based on the display of WhatsApp messages. Bright colors were chosen for the background to support the friendly, playful character of the campaign.
Since Monday and until Thursday, the experts of the addiction center are with their action at the KBZ St.Gallen and thus start AppSchalten officially.

In a participatory youth research project of the Child and Youth Health (KJG) Canton Zug, 14- to 18-year-old young people - so-called youth researchers - investigated the question of what young people do to promote and maintain their mental health. Together with the agency Advery, which itself trains young people with mental health difficulties to become graphic designers and mediamaticians, this participatory approach was taken further at the end of last year and an awareness campaign on mental health was developed (Werbewoche.ch reported). In parallel, workshops were developed for Zug schools, where the topics are explored in greater depth with students.
Website expanded, peer chat integrated
The focus of the further development of the campaign was on expanding Know-it.ch into an information center around the topic of adolescent mental health. The eye-catching campaign illustrations and animations on the four tips of the youth researchers are still a central element. However, various other content has now been added, such as real stories from young people on the individual topics as videos and concrete help on specific challenges in text form. Also new is the option of a peer chat: this service, provided by ProJuventute, allows young people to chat directly with other young people and thus address their own problems.
Campaign for young people by young people
The campaign was deliberately developed by young people for young people. The style and the address correspond to the needs and expectations of young people. The campaign is based on the question "Do you know it?" which, together with a dramatized illustration, draws young people's attention to a typical everyday situation.
The four main subjects can be seen in various places in the canton - for example in Zug cinemas, on buses and on social media, especially on Instagram.
«We are continuing to expand our own photo studio so that we can train more high-quality photography professionals, but also to meet the growing number of client orders,» said agency director Stefan Grob. Currently, four apprentices are being trained in the agency’s own photo studio, and assessments are being conducted for IV eligibility. With Frosan von Gunten on board, the studio’s former manager, Roger Nigg, now has optimal support.
Photographer and artist from Eastern Switzerland
From a young age, Frosan von Gunten has been a photographer through and through. After attending secondary school in Romanshorn and Frauenfeld, Frosan completed an apprenticeship as a photographer at the Vocational School of Design in Zurich. Until she joined the Advery photo studio, she worked primarily as a freelance photographer in the fields of portraiture, fashion, lifestyle, and advertising.
In addition to commercial photography, von Gunten is also active as an artist. At least once a year, she organizes an art exhibition—featuring her own works or in collaboration with the artist collective FaD.
